I just saw this and came here to post it. I really hope this is a joke. It kind of seems like it seeing as how the timer stopped at exactly 12 hours.
Seems like this was on purpose, hopefully they will still announce at E3. They may be just teasing us.
Awww. Well, thats fine. Like they say, good things take a lot of time. Hopefully they'll put just as much work into this project as they did in Halo 3. I can't wait to see how it turns out.
Also, I would think they would bring up the main page again and post it there, not on the countdown page.

The page is just an image now Look at the name of the image ("Reboot_homePage_04") I think there are more images that will appear over the next few days leading to the relaunch of the site and possibly something else.
They are still going to reveal something at E3, if it really was a delay, Bungie.net would be restored to it's old front page and the banner did say "Expect DELAYS!"
Microsoft isn't part of Bungie. Bungie became it's own developer after Halo 3. This delay of such was done by their publisher. Still, as said above, good things take much time. Also, I love how the bungie.net boards are going insane. Stosh replied to one of the posts that said it was a fake. I blame stosh for this setback....
There is a lot of other SI wallpapers, Im not sure where everyone is getting them, but there is suppose to be 7. I believe.
I wanna know. I know DM had an other one. I PMed him but he isn't telling where he found the one he has. Must. Have. Wallpapers. Found an other Wallpaper I still don't know where people are finding them. Anyone know?
