Please let me know if this is the correct thread for this map. This is a maze/obstacle course, created by me, w00tagepwnage, and my friend, itchyfox. We got our inspiration for this map from the Dark Cloud Maze, which you can see on Dark Cloud Maze Video - Halo 3 Game - MLG Game Room Our goal, was to created a maze not longer than the Dark Cloud, but harder. We believe that we have achieved this goal, as none of us have been able to finish this, without using Forge. Sorry about the small pictures, this is my first post on here. Somethings to remember when attempting: You don't always start the game at the beginning of the map. To get to the start, go to one of the teleporters that are on the ground, which will take you to the start. The mancannon part, picture 6, may have to be done when you are host, or when you are not host. You have to land on the teleporter as you are falling from the mancannon. There are a few parts that require you to grenade jump, and they are designated with a weapon holder with grenades in it. We put about 10 hours worth of work into this, and proud of what we have done. So please, no one steal, or change this map. Good luck, and happy jumping! Welcome to forgehub! i notice you said that the pics are tiny. if you are useing image shack try pasting the one that says for fourms. or you could try resising it on your computer if your computer did it. well welcome to forge hub and enjoy your stay! EDIT: i think this could go to mini-games or astetics. i don't belive it beloongs in casual. so welcome!
well i don't use photobucket( The croud gasps!) but i belive you should use the embed code because everyone says, "embed you images!" so i say go for it. try it out on only 1 because i don't know though. 1ce again welcome!
If you are using Photobucket you should be using the 'Direct Link' and if you feel like correcting your map, you should make yourself a custom gametype that way you can place the starting point for that gametype at the start. If you don't want to create a custom gametype then you're going to have to place a starting point for every gametype at the beginning of your course. Personally I suggest creating a custom gametype, yes it takes up room but we can always delete it after. I think you should use either oddball or territories (or VIP I guess) so that we know where we're supposed to go (there will be a waypoint at the end.) By doing this you can also go into forge and place a starting point for oddball or territories or w/e you decide to use at the beginning of your course. A starting point (if you don't already know) is a special spawn point that will only be used a the start of the game. If there are fewer (or equal) players than starting points then all the players will spawn (only at the very beginning) on a starting point. I'm guessing this a one-player map so you will only need to place a single starting point. To place these starting points you will have to go into forge and turn into the monitor. Then hit the start button and go to 'Change Gametype.' Change it to the gametype you plan on using and a new round will automatically start. Place the goal at the end of your course and a starting point (in the spawns menu) at the beginning of your map. I hope this helps you
I think in order to fix that you need to switch the part that says tiny, and replace it with full. I'm not sure though.
