woot first post! haha i was speed scrolling down looking at the images and i saw the mongoose, i thought it was a motorbike from like GTA san andreas or some crap...haha nice map like the layout playaqbility looks good wrong section, please move to map testing!
looks like you did a really nice job on this map good job, it doesnt look like it has interlocking but it still looks nice without it good job man also a good first post, if you dont know how to interlock, and you would like to find out, visit the forging 101 section on forgehub's front page, but a still good job on this map!
Yes! Finally a well built map that doesn't use interlocking! This map looks very well built and the weapons look like they go right with the map. I love the different levels with the map. I give it a 9.5/10. Good Job!!!
Well, I may be missing something, but is there any interlocking in this map at all? It looks really good and all, but I can spot plenty of things that would benefit from interlocking.
i think that bridge flipping and box flipping would do wonders for your map, but itlooks good anyway. needs to delete stuff. dern 100 limit!
I hate when people judge maps based on interlocking. If you ask me, it takes more skill to not interlock. Looks pretty good, I'm gonna hafta clean out my custom content before I check it out.
im srry but why is it called fork lift when theres no fork lift on the map (not including the vehicle type witch there was only 1 on the map pics.) but all to gether looks nice i might DL.
Fantastic job with this map for a first post. The layout has a great structure and i think that it's awesome for a competitive game. Not all maps need interlocking, you have just shown that. Although, if you do think of making a V2, make that a priority because people will flame you if you dont. There's is lots of cover in the map which makes gameplay better and the weapon placements are pretty good too. The other only ways to improve this map are to remove the gun turret - because it will overpower the opposition and flip the bridges over (for aesthetic purposes). Great map, 4/5 for now, but with interlocking definately a 5/5
you know i don't care if you didnt use interlocking you obviously didnt need it here to make an outstanding map im glad you made this it reminds me of hang em high with the bridges everwhere looks good from pics i will dl and see if gameplay is as good as the pics good job p.s. i like that you used little or no interlocking i only use it when needed
Looks pretty good to me. Multileveled, a vehicle, good weapon placement, I have to interlock to make my maps look nice, but you clearly don't have that issue. 4.5/5 from jelly
I have to agree here. I've grown a little tired of maps that focus on interlocking.... I'm glad I got to see something different.
"A good map does not need interlocking or geomerging" that's a quote you will here hundreds of times on this website. (If you don't know, that's when you put objects inside of each other or the map itself which you can read about HERE) I personally like to edit that quote however to "unless it disturbs the gameplay or looks in any way". Which this map I really don't think it does. The map reminds me of elongation. It's neat, pleasing to look at, and looks fun to play on. I'll definitely give this a download even though it's simple. Also, congratulations on posting correctly your first time! You had pictures, links and a brief description with the name of the thread only being the map! Amazing! You've obviously looked at many other posts or read how to post you map. Thankyou so much.
This is a really good map w/o interlocking. BTW actually it takes more skill to interlock perfectly. Not interlocking is consider lazy, but this map is REALLY good w/o interlocking. 4/5
wow, this is a pretty good map for no use of interlocking... i'd like to see what you could do with all the forging skills such as interlocking geomerging, etc. you got some potential man.
This is cool. I like the whole sky-walk idea, I can imagine how fun it would be fighting above foundry. 5/5.
Looks very nice. I'll check it out. +Props on making a map that looks good that doesn't use interlocking or geomerging. (With this map, I think you'll get that a lot)
