Really? I hope they add an undo button in Forge, and at least a new amount of objects for Forge in Foundry.
Well we dont know if there is even going to be a forge. I dont think the third person would handle it. But I still hope they use it

When i click his link all i get is a blank gamespot creen...all i can see is the generic menu and the adverts...no "leaks" of any kind However based on other comments i have posted this Playing as a marine(no shields ie easy to die)=As a normal,cmapaign style game?FAIL. Sorry but there is no way im going to believe that the marine im going to be playing as is "special".Whats going to be different between him/her and the walking ammunition were used to? "Third-person view"(ove rthe shoulder)=FAIL,no this means machinima will be trickier and slower as to make a good one you can't cut corners to get palyer perspective shots.Frankly machinima was always one of the awesome aspects of halo. Now for say a halo:battlefront game,marines are fine.with sparten III's and II's as hero classes of course with brutes,elites being heroes for the covenant. But not for a gears/ghost recon No shields would be a horrible idea. Then bungie would have to COMPETE ie in a comparible way with say COD4,rainbow six and any other tom clancy games. It will be no different than the million and one other "tactical" one shot kill games,which is a flooded market as is. Frankly i'd like to be playing as the remnents of blue team along with halsey and the sparten III's.With them exploring the undoubtedly hostile mini-dyson sphere and with the chief turning up towards the end.(giant forerunner sphere at end of halo 3=remains of "onyx" in this theory) Then we could have our squad-game while still remaining HALO as opposed to rainbow six with halo guns. Give us some cool squad moves that are still possible in multi-player and well all love it.Army of two type moves for example but for a four/5 man squad

Like, Gears and GTA. But GRAW 3rd person sucks. I just hope it turns out as good as Halo 3 did. If it gets close, at all, it will be a success. Halo 3 is still Pwnage, and will be for a long time to come.
its not halo 4 its not being made by Bungie (if this is the Peter Jackson Halo project) no forge the Superintendant situation is for an xbox live arcade game which will be announced tomorrow hopefully it will control like gears or Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 but in a halo setting also, i think that covenant weapons are completely feasible but we'll have to see. Maybe it will be announced at E3
If its true I will love to fight with a squad of marines in a swamp styled battle like the swamp story map in Halo 1 called 343 Guilty spark killing grunts and enemy positions using stealth tactics.

I think they'll put you in the place of a militiaman in the storyline of Contact Harvest. As long as it has good multiplayer, im fine with it.
Playing a story when we know exactly what will happen? With the plot entertainment value of watching paint dry? Peh....much and all as i like to see leut.bryn getting his ass whooped and <random militiaman no4757/3> getting shredded by a chopper,the story would be boring becuase A.It would be ridiculously short BOr it would feature all those boring AI conversations which would suck in a videogame
Actually the movie plans halted because of a few reason, not just money. Microsoft actually paid Alex Garland to write a script up for the movie. Then they sold the script to Universal and Fox for 10 million. [I'm not quite sure how that works] Then Universal and Fox pulled their support for the Halo movie due to production costs. The budget was something like 140 million, but I read on other sites that it would cost 200 million. Then after all that crazyness Fox bought the license for the movie. Then making Neill Blomkamp the director for it. Now not only all that but there have been multiple scripts for the movie that have been looked at and then thrown out the window. The newest script is being written up by Stuart Beattie. Not only that, it looks like the Master Chief wont even be the main character. Why you ask? "Where the Master Chief doesn't have a face... That's hard to carry as a main character for an entire film. But you can certainly surround him with people who don't have helmets on and you can see their faces."Anyway... Fun fun right? So Fox and Universal still have the movie going "forward" and Microsoft are certainly trying to get the movie to go ahead. Apparently Pre-Production has been somewhat underway since October last year in New Zealand by Weta Digital and Weta Workshop... Back to the game? I dunno... =]
Yes but it's not exactly "scrapped", as you said. Just moving very very slowly. If anything I expect to see something in about 2011-2013
The current project last i heard was "test the waters" style movie. Ie the last script i read about has the covies not showing up until after halfway.Cutting CGI costs immensely. I suppose the idea would be make money with the first to make F*** loads with the sequel. And frnakly gamespot havent linked their sources so i'd say its about as reliable as a house built on sand.....oh my god that biblical statement actually made me puke a little
it might be 1st person soon this isnt even official don't believe it until you see it and i believe this halo will end with them finding master chief then it will combine if its a hit what they just did with the 5th halo series game they would put some original halo mixed with the new halo making awesomeness halo i think it would have been a lot of fun as some missions to play throguh as an odst in a squad that would be cool have faith in bungie The movie would be better if it followed sgt johnson or they had a marine that for some reason always survived and was like destined to be with the master chief idk that would be easier to pull off because there may have always been this one guy who survived somehow everytime and witnissed it all.
