private message for questions. Im not sure if anyone else has noticed this or if it has pissed anyone else off as much as it did me, but in foundry, the skylights and possibly other things can sometimes change your object's color. For example if you go into foundry, and place a box on the right of the middle wall, it can be a red-ish, black, light blue, and possibly white. For one of my newer maps, I needed a box just there. As the rest of the map was purely green and I wanted it to be pretty, I decided to investigate. I've discovered a way to make it normal. red-ish color black color light blue and white The procedure is fairly simple, you hold the object above the area where you want it to be, and where the color looks normal. While holding the object there, pause the game and select, Start New Round. When the new round starts, the object would have fallen from where you hold it, and will be the color of what it was while you were holding it. Sometimes this takes a few tries to get it to land where you want it. I have used this method twice so far for my forges, and it has worked both times. So, if you want a color matching map, without having to make drastic changes to your map, (if you run into the problem) then this is the guide for you! Thanks, -monkeyrantz
1 no it has to be when it lands 2 and this guide is for keeping the box green not making an entirely colored map, although that is a great idea, i was thinking about that, i will try some stuff out
There's a place where you can make the box completely blue, I wonder if using a second player, you could fling the box where you want it(would take some lot's of practice). Very interesting, I just recently found a hilarious respawn point glitch, I should post that.
well, that couldn't actually work, the color of the box is determined by the lighting of where it is. Kind of related to the colored door trick: click here
actually yes... haha i was messing around cause i didnt want one white box on my map so i just started trying different things
