Map Title:Mini Metropolis Mini Metropolis Mayhem Download Map Bandits Description: Bandit's is a one sided flag game. the bandits start in a cave near the middle of the map with a load of weapons to use and three choppers to attack the town with. The Bandit cave The hornet is accessible with some skill Battle in the middle of town Flag spawn Paladin Description: Paladin is an infection gametype the human are equipped with swords and hammers and the zombie is the last remaining human, a paladin who's job it is to kill all the "zombies". team up and work together to kill him. the last man standing becomes almost equivalent to the paladin. The paladin has weak motion sensors The roofs are a good place to hide Set up a good trap Lifeline Description: Lifeline is a territories gametype where everyone has three lives but will respawn if a territory is captured so the attackers have to try not to kill the defenders too much. Sorry no pics Deus Description: Deus is a complex gametype where two powerful players battle while the rest of the players can look on as peasants or help one of the players. it has a team of defenders and one person on the attacking team. One of the powerful players is the Vip the other is the attacker. they can both pick up weapon and start with both kinds of pistols. pesants can pick up weapons when they are near the vip and can drive when they are not. the attacker loses point when he kills the peasants and the peasants lose points when they kill deus (the attackers) this gametype is by my buddy PrimePhreak Peasants can help a little My battle turned into a sword fight but knocking them off the edges works though Have fun and pick your poison the map also works with one bomb variants and other asymmetric games- WMcr8 AfroNinja and ConsolPhreaks
Not trying to be a jerk but this map looks like nothing more than some boxes turned on their sides and an armory. However, the gametypes are quite interesting and I look forward to trying them out.
i don't think its good to leave the whole level open for people to run off somewhere else but w/e. it looks like a nice, fun little town. i really like that you didn't just make a map, but you went the extra mile and made a bunch of gametypes to go with it. paladin and deus look particularly interesting, but i'm thinking in deus that the attacker should be a little more powerful. that is assuming that you didn't already make it that way. kool map and awesome gameplay ideas. 9/10 (only cuz its escapable)
I'm afraid i have to agree with Joedirt mapwise, and as well with the game types. creative game types are necessary in order to have a fun experience with halo so they looked good, but with the map type, it just doesn't seem to be a very sturdy city also... someone could go over by one of the "skyscrapers" and easily knock it over
Im glad your post is well put together but I feel with a few extra hours you could really tidy this map up. Keep on forging and eventually you will learn from your mistakes and create a great map. I like your multiple game types which is something I don do.
I know that the town could use a little fixing up but the way i saw it when i designed it was that the off kilter roofs and slightly tilted buildings added a ramshackle look to the town.
