Grind House :)

    This is an infection map to be played with this

    OVERVIEW:
    This is an original infection map with some great features.
    The initial zombies will spawn above the broken flood chamber (as if they broke out).

    DESGIN:
    This map includes advanced forging so that it looks ascetically pleasing this includes a man cannon which is interlocked with the floor.
    There are also zombie traps through the map such as power cores held onto the wall with portal nodes.
    I have also built a catwalk which leads to a portal which takes you across the map.
    This is the area the alpha zombies spawn.

    The man cannon has been fused with the ground so that it appears as a vent.

    By placing the grav lift onto the portal I made it look like another vent.

    GAMEPLAY:
    Humans have no motion tracker which creates a more intense atmosphere and helps to enough teamwork.
    Zombies are orange as this helps to blend in with the flood infected environment.

    I'm not a fan of Infection, but you have yourself a great layout, I love the "vents" and the double teleporter, it gives it a sweet look...almost spiral-ish. Anyways, the main reason I had to come here, was your Map Thread Title, it should always be posted as the actual name of your map.

    What you have: Grind House :)

    THIS LOOKS AMAZINGTASTIC!

    A tip though, to make the map even "Gloomier" add the Olde Timey Fx as well as gloomy.

    Yea Im no good at naming so that went to my friend SEUM7 it kind of creates Irony with the map and game type.
    I tied that but it becomes very dark and with no filters it becomes to bright so I had to choose an inbetween.
    I dont often make infection maps so I hope you like this one.

    infection maps are ok, but i find any party i play with usually getting bored of them. not sure if i'll download, but i will say that lately i've seen about three dozen infection maps on cold storage (kind of getting annoying) but yours is by far the best as far as looks go. it looks like you're someone with forging experience who actually put time into the map rather than some bored kid who threw a bunch of objects on the map and called it a level. all the aesthetic touches you made are great. well done

    I tried to make this map a "fun" infection map were the player would be happy to play as either the zombie or human.
    That's why if you look at the pathways through cold storage you will see barriers and walls which prevent the field of view for the humans and also gives zombies something to hide behind.
    Also weapons are evenly placed throughout the map so that the humans cant camp one area for ever.
