i dont mind midship, or any other halo 2 maps that i loved to play on. you know they're remaking maps for a reason right? because they were GOOD! but i also do agree with others, something original would be nice. preferably a Forging map. but not completely flat and square like foundry... maybe open environment and the whole level isn't flat. (kind of like a map like avalanche but with more, and better forge items.)
