There is nothing to disagree on. All the people who file these lawsuits just want money and should have lost but somehow they didn't. I can't believe how stupid the jury was for all those cases.
My aunt's a lawyer, and she deals with this kind of crap almost weekly.......her current case is involving some lady who had her name legally changed to Sister Reed........I think I'm with Mike here, America has gone to hell in a handbasket.........HELLO BRAZIL!!!!!!!!!
heres a REALLY good one a woman sued victoria sectet for getting hit in the face with a metal object off a thong.....:0 yeah apperently it caused permenant dammage the article here and almost anywhere else
Im not sure if its been said, but not everybody knows what really happened there... The lady was angry because the company overheated their coffee to make it stay hotter longer, thus somehow saving money. So if they hadnt overheated the coffee, then she probably wouldnt have gotten burned. And by burnt, the lady got actually burned, not like 3rd degree, but it was more than just "OOHHH THATs So hOt!!!" However the lawsuit does seem a little wierd... I have to admit.
Sueing people for ridiculous reasons is just wrong and especially if you win money or stuff from it. I once heard a story of a woman trying to dry her dog in the microwave (yes i coulde't believe it either) ,I think her dog died in there, anyway she sued the company who made the microwave and won because it did not say that you couldn't dry your dog inside it . This is wrong i am glad we don't have this system in Sweden. Have fun stopping your burglars there in the states.
i think these are all really stupid and actually me and my friends discuss this a lot but i guess america is just becoming money hungry and stupid. also it might be the lawyers that some people have but seriously i think this big organizations just dont really care about these lawsuits become they barely effect them so they dont bother. also i dont kno if this is true but ive heard somewhere that they wouldnt let a kid on an airplane because of his name and they got away with it
Well if someone breaks into your house i dont think they can sue because they broke a law, if anyone gets in trouble its the person who broke in. The one thing i thought was ridiculous is if you have a fence closed around a pool and someone breaks through it, gets in the pool and drowns, what are you supposed to do about that lol
First of all, I'm not a forum troll. This is what I've heard. I heard that lady that got burnt by hot coffee, actually - her private parts were severely damaged and burnt by the hot coffee. (e.g. She has problem pee pee-ing). People told me it spilt in her lap. My condolences are to her. That has to suck.
My teacher told my class about this lawsuit where a couple was fighting in a McDonald's and the woman threw her drink and the husband or boyfriend and when she left slipped and hurt herself on the drink she spilled and sued and won.
