Map Title: Gorge Download Map Description: On the planet Onyx, this Gorge was transformed into a prime training sport for SPARTAN-III's. It's construction was overseen by Lt. Ambrose and Chief Mendez. This Gorge was the only training ground ONI would allow on Onyx. It is the home to some of the most epic battles fought by the SPARTAN-III's. Forge Methods Used: * Geo-Merging * Interlocking * Immovable Objects Weapons on Map * 2 Assault Rifles * 4 Battle Rifles * 2 Shotgun * 2 Sniper Rifles * 2 Sub-Machine Guns * 2 Spiker Rifles * 2 Plasma Rifles * 2 Plasma Pistols * 2 Brute Shots * 1 Rocket Launcher * 2 Machine Gun Turrets Equipment on Map * 1 Active Camouflage * 1 Oversheild * 1 Tripmine * 2 Bubble Shields * 8 Fragmentation Grenades * 4 Plasma Grenades Vehicles on Map * 2 Warthogs * 2 Mongoose * 1 Ghost Gorge is a symmetrical map that is great for Team and Non-Team based games, it SHOULD work with all of Bungie's gametypes. Gorge in all took about 30 Hours to make, For planning, testing, and editing. Gorge has had very high reviews from the Beta-Testers. Although Gorge is not a direct re-make of Blood Gulch and Sidewinder, it is VERY influenced by them. The Grey Sniper easily picks off the Elite Field Master. The main mountain area that holds the Rocket Launcher One of the symmetrical rocky outcroppings near the teleporter. The Elite Field Master fires upon one of the bases A fight rages on outside Blue Base. The Red Base
the map look very well set out but i think you could put more cover outside of the bases but any way it is a great map
Looks pretty cool, and the book reference is always a plus, because the Ghosts of Onyx was an awesome book. But, it looks a bit open, and the sniper will dominate on this map. So if you have a weapon to counter the sniper, then it's worth putting on the map. Other than that, it looks very well made, and I'm sure that it will play awesome. Great Job, 4/5 for the sniper issue.
well this is a very onoriginal map and very open on both sides i dont really see people having fun on this map you need to put more cover in your map and not just one building
its not too bad of a map although you need to take pictures of the interior and duz the red base have a wawrthog too?if it doesn't, it would be very unfair for them. and does the field master have more health than other players?
There is no Gametypes so the Field Master is the same as normal players. If you checked the list, there are 2 Buildings that are symmetrical. The structure in the middle has cover, but is not considered a building. Each base has the same exact weapons/vehicles.
I like how it's like a fusion between two awesome classics and you pulled it off nicely; however Foundry isn't big enough to make a really great combination. Overall it's awesome but I can see instances where the hog can get maneuver properly.
I know you were trying to make space for the warthogs, but there's barely any cover on the ground. Foundry doesn't make the best warthog map.
There are alot of places for hiding. The Rocks. The Mountains. Then there's the Bases. That seems to be enough Warthog cover.
First of all, I think you meant to say Spartan-IIs because MC is a Spartan-II and Spartan-IIIs don't exist to my knowledge. Also, you need cover on the map like maybe hills in the center like Blood Gulch's hills if you can pull that off. Also, i recommend that you add ghosts to the map as well to balace it more.
The SPARTAN-III Program was the successor and "replacement" to the SPARTAN-II Program. Engineered by Colonel James Ackerson of the Office of Naval Intelligence, the SPARTAN-III soldiers (S-IIIs) were to be the next generation of super soldiers. They would be cheaper to arm, train, and produce; chosen from a wider pool of candidates, and more numerous than their SPARTAN-II predecessors. They would rely on superior battle tactics, teamwork, and stealth rather than technology and equipment, to achieve their effectiveness. SPARTAN-III's do exist. I made no mistake in my description. There is one Ghost on the map to balance it out.
