Can someone help me, I've had my laptop for quite a while, and I've started playing WoW again. But it wont let me install WoW, I get to putting in the second disc, but it freezes, I even re-formatted the whole thing, and it still happens. I now have 58gb of memory and I had 28gb. But I believe it may me the ram. But the problem is, my laptop has 256MBram and wow needs 512mb, so could this affect the installation? And if so, how can I install more to my laptop (Dell Latitude 110L) Thanks =]
It won't affect the instalation, it will still install it will just run extremely bad on your computer, you probably will get crashes often, and online will lag like a *****. I've done this before, put software that my computer can't handle, and it's terrible. I would suggest putting it in a tower CPU it'll run better, but that's just my personal input...
My computer can handle it, but because it's a notebook, it's not designed to have lots of RAM, it has an amazing GFX card etc. But, Tower CPU? Can you explain more please =]?
wow, im not a big computer guy but i had a similar problem to this a while ago. you see... i have an old computer... and i wanted to install WoW on my computer a couple months ago. well it installed... but when you played all you saw was a black and gold screen... but my problem was the graphics card. yours may be a little different than mine. but i do know one thing. Laptops aren't really good for computer games. i suggest you install it on a desktop if you can.
Oh, a tower CPU is the kind that sits on the desk or something (kinda in a tower form, lol), It's like a regular computer, I would suggest those, because you can buy extra RAM to put in them.
Aah. I'm not gonna spend alot of cash on something like that though =/ I just need to know now if you can somehow put more ram on a laptop?
