Map Title: Berlin Wall V4 This wall is the only thing keeping the East and West factions from massive conflict. Description: This is Berlin Wall. A giant wall seperating the East and West Factions from each other. This map support One Sided VIP, CTF, and Assault. This took several hours to brainstorm and create, and testing it with some of you was a lot of fun, but since then, the weapon placement has changed. the Defenders have a wide variety of weapons at their disposal, and the Attacker have to deal with it with their own. Using an Explosive Weapon in the crack near the North side of the wall will activate a series of grav lifts, making it easier to get up over the wall. Attacker spawn in a room with Battle Rifles, and a door which upon entering will take you to 1 of 5 random places on the map, one of which has a Sniper with 0 spare clips. Weapons List: Assault Rifles-4 Battle Rifles-8 Shotguns-2, 0 spare clips Snipers- 3, 0 spare clips but I found only 2. I dont know why it said 3 SMG-2 Spikers-2 Magnum-1 Needler-1, 0 Spare Clips Brute Shot-1 Spartan Laser-1 Fuel Rod Gun-1, 1 spare clips Turret-1, 60 sec respawn. Bubble Shield-1 Regenerator-1 This may be incorrect, because there was something wrong when I check. It said 3 Snipers, but I found only 2. Strange... Whatever. Don't tell me that the interlocking on the wall is sloppy; I know it is. On to the Pics. Attacker Base. Currently, Weapon Placement is basically just Assault Rifles, BRs, and 2 SMGs. Walk into the door to spawn in 1 of 5 reciever nodes outside, one of which has a Sniper. Defender HQ. Self Explanitory Flag Spawn for 1 Sided CTF Game Varient. It's really easy to get up there. and... notice the interlocked Lattice Roof thing... very nice... Flag Return Point. Not much to say. Get there, fast. North Side of the wall. Turret, spawning in 60 sec, and a hidden switch. cant say where it is, though South Side of the Wall. Not much... (My personal Favorite) Prop Tanks. Use for cover, to jump on the wall, etc. your choice. Final Thoughts: Thank you to everyone who helped test this map, and gave suggestions on how to improve the map. Before you criticize at a somewhat large scale, as in how to make the map better or how bad something is, please at least download the map first and check it out. Thanks again, and here comes.... It has a lot of Barriers on the map, but you just cant see them in the shots. sorry bout that. There is cover.
The prop tanks are very imaginitive! Have you considered placing a rocket launcher in the weapon holder on top of it?

Arch3m, what was ur tag? i dont remember u... what didnt u like about gameplay? if it was that rocket launcer thing that happened, that was fixed. for those wondering, there was a time where a person constantly had rocket launchers and had full ammo, even though he could only get to one rocket launcher that had 0 spare clips. turns out, there were a bunch of rockets in a corner somewhere. i dont know how those got there, so i fixed it.
Looks like a really good idea for a good game. Those tanks are great. Seems difficult for the attackers.... maybe you could make it possible somehow to make the tanks shoot lol... like a wraith or guass trapped in one...
that would be cool, but then it would look wierd. but once the attackers making it over the wall, it makes it a whole lot easier. But CTF is pretty hard, though.
No, my tag was Archem. Close enough, though, right? I came with a friend (Tork232), and we played a small game of about 3v3. I believe it was a VIP. The problems that my team had was difficulty getting over the wall (not me so much, but Tork got pissed), the VIP team having easier access to weapons, and a little bit of camping. The rockets were a bit of a problem, but if you fixed them, I can't complain about them. I may be mistaken, but I believe we play tested a map before this one, one with a central wall, two bases, and only a few weapons (almost exclusively in the bases). Can't remember much.
Yes. That map we test before was Guerilla, but since it didnt go over so well, i never posted it, and i dont plan to. and yeah i guess the camping was a problem(mostly me. sorry) But thanks for the input.
