How does the map look before you tried it?

    The Line is the first REAL competetive map I have ever created and same to this post. I hope that if you play this map, that you will have a great time. In the beginning, you start out in the normal Foundry rooms. It contains ARs, BRs, SMGs, Magnums, grenades, and a flare or radar jammer, depending on which side you start. After you exit into the stairs, you will find one Brute Shot and a Spiker. Passing that area, you will enter the place where all the action is, the "Line." On the far end, there will be one "single box" knocked over to reveal a shotgun and a second route to the other side. In the middle of the "Line," there will be stairs that lead you on top of the line where you can find, in, again, the far end, two rooms and in the beginning, a sniper tower. So far this map can only be played with FFA, Team Slayer, and Oddball, but feel free to edit it to play whatever gametype you want, but remember, gimme credit for the map!!!

    This is the Sniper Tower. There is a dumster in the front of the tower because I didn't want anybody to just run away while they're dying and find sanctuary that easily. They have to run into the dumster, stop, then jump over it.

    seems alright. box flipping and more interlocking would make it better. also in the second pic there is an armory. armory = Bad. it ruins gameplay.

    i agree with benny. Nice concept, maybe put some interlocking in, i know it takes a lot more time but it makes gameplay much smoother and it makes it seem like your actually playing a bungie made map.

    Alright, good job getting the post format right for your first map.

    The map looks average, so I'll give you a couple suggestions to make v2 above average:

    1. Take away a few of the weapons in the starting spawns, so they don't seem like armories.

    2. Move rockets and camo away from each other, or delete one of them. Nothing pisses people off more than an invisible guy w/ rockets (IMO).

    3. 32 frag grenades? Really? You actually took the time to place all 32 frag grenades? Grenade spam is bad, reduce frags to no more than 10. Same with plasmas.

    4. Geo merging some of those boxes into the ground would look better and allow players to get on top of them easier.

    5. I don't like the idea of the dumpster, it looks sloppy and seems to be an unnecessary obstacle. I'd remove it.

    6. There are other areas that just look sloppy. Interlocking and better precision will help you there.

    It isnt really an armory, it contains ARs and BRs, also, your never in that part of the map except for the beginning. Your always in the later part of the map. The Frags arent really where you think theyd be, theres technically only four used frags in the map, and the camo and overshield take a while for dumb people to get to them. You would have to run far to get a rocket launcher and camo together, especially without dying.

    I agree with JJ3672. Most importantly in my opinion is to experiment with the weapon set and placement. You should do what feels right to you.

    looks quite good, uv got the right idea but it could b a bit neater, but looks quite good, a v2 would b a good idea

    a really good thing to interlock would be those floating spawn boxes on the sides of the map (interlock with stairs)

    3/5 from me because of no interlocking...even though, gampleay looks good....tell you what ill rate 4/5 if you come out with v2 with interlocking and more smoothness (I feel everywhere i walk i will be bumping up and down)
