Shadow Moses Island I've had a ForgeHub account for awhile, but this is my first posted map. This is a remake of the heliport level from the classic PSX Metal Gear Solid 1. It includes effective spawn placement, balanced weapons, and landmarks from the original game. The challenge was making the actual map look like the game, and to include enough cover, weapons, and the prevention of camping. Wow. I'm a huge Metal Gear fan and this is like the most coolest thing I've seen in a while. You did pretty good on this map, this actually gives me ideas on maps to make using Metal Gear stages. Once again, well done, I'll need to download this map to see how well it plays though.
Wow! This is a very impressive map that is highly close to the original. I might give it a DL some time. BTW what’s inside the base? Oh, and where's the snow, lol?
I was originally going to make this map on avalanche, but I figured it wouldn't be as easy to find nice level ground like on foundry- and the base is just a facade (just the front of the building)
im no MGS fan, but its still well done, i like it i noticed how you used grav lifts in place of spotlights, great idea NICE MAP
looks amazing. All i can say. i never played metal gear solid but this looks just like the map as far as i can tell from the pictures. Good job!!

Awesome! I love MGS and I just completed 4 now (I know it took me ages but it was worth it!) I'm definitley downloading this, just give me time to clear space on my HD! SPOILER: Going through the microwave corridoor reminded me of the torture scene in MGS 1, loved it!!!

'this is the liberty we have won 4 ourselves..... outer haven'. i would marry metal gear solid.... the fact you recreated act 4 from mgs4 or the heliport from mgs1 onto halo 3 is fantastic. mgs4 is the reason i bought a ps3. the map is great and you have got my dload.
