The big lines of the map are great, but there are some things that can be fixed: -try flipping over the brigdes and interlock them with the boxes. -the map is open, so add cover here and there to make it easier to advance through the map safely. -try putting some aestheatics in the map, because it looks pretty boring when you're looking at it. try making a v2 with those things in it, thx, the persister2.
This is a great post as you did fulfill all of forgehub's requirements. it is very informative and the pictures are helpful. The map is pretty good too and has some interlocking in it which is good. If you want to fix the open area issue then just place some barriers. If you want to be a little fancier try to submerge some walls so they stick up at crouch height. this is done with geomerging and can be learned in forging 101. great post 9/10
Thanks for the tips guys, I will make a V2 adding more barriers for extra cover, and i will interlock the bridges to make them more fun to walk on. Aesthetics got it!
Ok heres my review: Good: -seems easy to move around, always good -Where you have interlocked it is done superbly (in most places) -Looks like a good theme for a map Areas for Improvement -some interlocking could be done a bit better -One of the wall corners at the top seems a little out of place -Needs more aesthetic feel to it -it could be made smoother by flipping the bridges Questions -Is this really your first map? the post was done excellently -WHO WINS?!?!?!?!? i think itd be the guy with the rocket, but then again, the guy bein rocketed could jump or move, but on the other hand, the guy being stickied could move aswell... hmm If you found my review helpful and informative please give me positive rep =D
looks nice. although im not sure how it would play. from the looks of it if your caught on the ground , it seems that everyone would have a clear shot at you >.<
Woot! The guy with the rocket won and the plasma grenade missed! Woot! I checked your recent games =). Good job with the map though it is not my style.
Eh, it looks ok in my opinion, but that happens to be a harsh one. Are the two back rooms blocked off?
No, actually they are not blocked off, i used the doors mostly for step ladders lol. Its ok there are no respawn points back there, so i dont think a lot of time will be spent there.
although the map is playable there could be a few inprvements. most people use the bottom of the bridges because they are fflat an d eaisyier to work with also, try interlocking them at level with the box. it makes it look a lot cleaner. also the floating box is crooked. not to be pickey but just saying. also one last thing one of your pics isn't working for me. dunno why. maybe its just for me but you might want to check that out.
Ya as I said before I plan to make a v2, adding barriers on the ground for better cover, so its easier to travel throughout the map. My main concern are the bridges, I am not the best at interlocking but how would you get the bridges to interlock with the double boxes? Would you stack some walls are how would it work?
