First off, I'd like to point a couple things out. First, this is a modded map, but it just adds a barrier to keep you out of the two back rooms, I will delete this thread if needed. Second, This idea has been posted a couple times before, but I think this turned out much better than both. That's it I think. _________________________________________________________________________ Raining Blood This map is for infection, it's pretty simple really, but it's fun to play. Complex isn't always best. And yes, the name I got from the song by Slayer. The humans basically spawn in a big cube, but there are 12 holes in the ceiling. The cube itself is two double walls high, the short way. And it's wider than that I believe, so it's bigger than the other maps like this I've seen. The zombies spawn on the ceiling, by the holes, or one level below, on some double boxes, but they can jump up very easily. The teleporters go to the ceiling if they fall, but you might as well just climb back up. The goal for the humans is to survive for 12 minutes, which isn't very likely, it's mostly for fun. The have magnums, and they can kill the zombies in 1 hit, but don't worry, it works out fine in this case. normal shields. The goal for the zombies is to kill all of the humans within the 12 minutes. They will most likely win, but again, it's just for fun. Alpha Zombies have swords and Grav-Hammers, regular zombies only have swords. All zombies have 10% resistance with no shields, and move faster than humans, gravity is normal. ________________________________________________________________________ Screenshots! I agree, I'm tired of fat kid maps, Omega Journey remakes, and things like that. I do have to point out though, Alpha zombies have a Gravity Hammer, that's not too bad though, now is it?
is this the cleaned up version of that other one? Any way I agree it is better than all the others i have seen. Cant remember who said they would remake a map like this, but this map looks extremely fun. I'd get a party together but, my live is limited as i say, and i can only D/L and cannot do matchmaking/parties. Edit: In regards to the post below, I think it was Zombie rain
Yes, it probably is, though I don't recall which map I said that in, I can think of two possibly: Zombie Rain and Zombies! Anyway, you can't play customs? That'd suck.
Technically, this map is only one double wall high, besides that, this looks like a fun map, you should have named it raining zombies due to the fact that the zombies jump down from the ceiling.
And to that, I say this. The short way. Which is the normal way. And thanks for the compliment. Yah this looks good, i like these more then the other fat kid maps. good job. and BTW raining blood sucked on expert i just beat it like a week ago.
this looks like a nice swords map, i like the middle platform nice job, and nice use of a mod even tho a lot of people are against modding.
