The thing I like most about this map is that thing with the barriers. I should make something like that in the future. Nice job, definitely one of the neatest maps I've seen.
from what i see 5/5 on weapon placement 5/5 on geo mergin 5/5 on interlocking and 10/5 for makin a sweet map nice job and may the forge be with you.
thanks and no im not bad in spelling (not that i never spell wrong, im not english)its portal kombat with a K cause its a reference to mortal kombat, what i thought was pretty obvious and about the shield door thing... well if you readed the post you would have known where its been used for i think that adds that one unique (or atleast not seen that much in maps) thing to the gameplay.
I gave the map a try and it is really fun to play in. Gameplay is smooth and fun. The map gets a 5/5. Great Job!
To be honest, I avoided this map for some time because of the name. If you were to change one thing about the map, it'd be the name. I thought it would be a gimmicky take on a Mortal Kombat map. I was very wrong. Your forging skills are very impressive here. The fact that you merged the stair case into the wall of foundry shows me your commintment to making a good map, as that can be very hard to do. You seem to have a good layout built, but I'll have to play around in it before I can say anything. Either way, you have made a good first impression.
thanks and the name heh eyah.. like i said in another map thread of mine, im very bad at making up names and since portals sort of play a role in gameplay i found it quite funny to use te name portal kombat (lol and im still big fan of mk1), but the map itself has nothing to do with mortal kombat indeed
your maps were always awsome.. this 1 has to be the best tho.. im deff goin to dl.. but honestly did you have to do the idea with the bridges b4 me? b/c i totall was goin to do that.
very good looking. see i have a hard time just letting maps like this stay like this one is, i always have to keep adding things that just arent neccessary. im not fond of teleporters but the look of this map is great so ill download. one other thing i understand that the teams spawn on other ends of that wall. but i think maybe the over all slayer feeling might be more open if there was no wall. it seems like it might be blocking some of the reach of combat. but if the wall works as you planned it too, then please keep it. fantastic map. i have to use the (out of 10 system for it) 9.5/10
i made the wall cause else it would become a bit to open maybe imo, and its allready is a bit open for the ghost. it also provides some extra cover, and i think it makes the map look better aswell and i wanted to have 4 seperate areas. 1 for each teleporter in the air. normal im not such a big fan of teleporters eather but it actually only has 2 you can enter, so its not realy overdone and its adds a nice twist to gameplay. i couldnt even add that much more stuff, im only a few objects away from reaching the limit even that it uses moneyglitch.
looks pretty good, uv got some good ideas that i havnt seen before and it has a nice layout, looks fun good job
