This is my map, Upsurge v2.5. Description: This is an updated version of my map Upsurge. Upsurge is a training facility based in a warehouse that the UNSC managed to aquire and convert. It is a Closed-Quaters training center with little open space. It has two identical bases (A and B) with staircases on both sides. There is a two level middle structure that holds the mauler. looking from B base the 3 story sniper tower is to the right with a wall blocking the sniper spawn from view. to the left is the 3 story carbine tower with needler, 2 carbines and a brute shot on the 3rd level. the third level is accessable from the dumpster in the middle of level 2. there are gravlifts of bothsides of carbine tower. in front of each base A and B there is a small room with grav lift and crates for access from the front of the base. shield doors guard the entrance, but grenades can still be thrown over top of the walls. Game Types: - Slayer(FFA and Team) - CTF - Oddball - KoTH - Assault Additional notes: Works terrific with 4v4 slayer and objective. Is decent for FFA. wow, i can imagine the patient needed to geomeld all that! looks awesome ! pretty much an MLG stereotype map though (layoutwise) so i give it a 4/5.
Not bad. The interlocking and geomerging look good, but there is little available cover to the sides of the carbine/center tower path. Also, it looks like the sniper tower is biased. The wall facing base B is solid, while the windows are facing Base A. If I'm wrong, then please correct me, because that would be one of the only visible flaws with the map so far.
No you are correct, the sniper tower does favor B, that was a minor design flaw. ill probly change the window on A side to a wall in my next update. thanks for looking guys
this map in the middle reminds me of my map terror but yours looks neater than mine but i like this map it is well cool
Ooh very nice interlocking/geomerging. This reminds me of a map from Rainbow 6 Vegas 2. Nicely done. 5/5 and a DL from me!
