Fortio x Dropkicked x Supported Gametypes: 2 team Slayer Red vs Blue 2 team flag Oddball KOTH 2 team Bomb (All of the above should work, but I did have some problems, so I only know that 2 team slayer will work fine, please tell me if the other gametypes have problems, thanks). Map Description Fortio (For-she-oh) is my first ever map to both use interlocking, and to be posted on ForgeHub. It is an asymetrical map, best used for slayer, with a choice selection of weapons (SMG's, 1 Sniper, BR's, 1 Rocket, Carbines, 1 Brute and various grenades/equip). I'm new to interlocking so there may be some minor flaws, and so on, but they come and go with practice, so please forgive me. Any test reviews, and constructive criticism is very welcome, as I have a second map planned (hopefully). _________________________________________________ Overview of Right hand side of map Partial overview of left side Mancannon (merged into a fence wall to act as a lift)on the left side Sniper spawn (90 secs) with brute/regen below Right hand side base (you can hide in the hole I am in, but fusion coils prevent camping) View from right side to central structure (rightmost of screen) View across objective platform/tunnel to leftside cover Objective Platform/tunnel (Overshield spawns under). This is where you will find that oddball/KOTH spawns and takes place. The overshield below (the gap cannot be crouched through, but stops camping) Finally, the rocket spawn on central structure (120 sec respawn) _________________________________________________ Well that's about it. Your interlocking is nice. I love the stairs interlocked with the bridge, I have never seen that on a map before. In only some parts of the map it is open so that is good. I will give you a 4/5 because this map is awesome.
Thank you very much, I wasn't expecting that. =] It was originally more cluttered, but I re-designed some areas as it was quite hard to kill each other with the lack of sight lines. Thanks

Looks good from what I can see, nice layout. Though somethings could be improved: Those bridges could be interlocked with the boxes for added smoothness and it could be a little neater. Over all 3.5/5
I attempted to interlock the bridges but I couldnt get it to work, any pointers on how to get them smooth would be much appreciated. =]

Looks very professional considering the clean interlocking. Cleanest map I have seen on ForgeHub (I just now joined though) so far. My only concern is that it looks a little open but I read that it was hard to kill people previously so I am guessing that is a good thing. Keep posting!
great map dropkicked, i love ur map i love the way that the double box looks merged with the lower platform looks in your first photo. ur map looks great, the steep structures look good- GREAT JOB i give you a 10/10
Nice - i like the map, it looks quite competitive to play on. I used stacking walls to interlock but the dumpster idea is pretty much simpler and quicker
i like this map alot. you filled the space without crowding, or leaving it too open. everything looks really neat and you have really put some time and thought into it. thumbs up from me!
Thanks. In response to the cover, is it a good balance, because as I said I put a lot of changes into it, as I found that sometimes it could be very hard to kill an opponent. Also, does that mancannon work fine? because I never noticed the bump up onto it, but I didn't know if it would effect anything long term. Lastly, are the weapons balanced, and are there enough to use? And, a massive thank you for the response so far, I'm glad its well liked =]
This map looks very good. I see only a few interlocking mistakes. When I saw this map I saw a little bit of my own maps in there. Only because it looks like something I would have made. Good job though. 4.5/5
