Dimension IV Gametype(s) Supported: FFA Slayer Players Supported: 2-6 Welcome to Dimension IV. Here, you can travel to places far away, in a blink of an eye. Here, you can visit a UNSC base. Here, you can survey weird inner workings of a Covenant craft. Here, you can see where Brute's lay low. Here, you can witness many flaming deaths. This, is Dimension IV. Description: Dimension IV is a map that will excite and confuse you at the same time. In this map, the player will be hunting down an opponent, only to find his or her self in a place that they did not expect to be in. The magic of Dimension IV is in The Forge's Teleporters, specifically the Two-Way Nodes. These babies allow the competing players to access inter-dimension travel. You see, Dimension IV consists of four rooms, or dimensions. Each dimension is themed. One dimension is a UNSC base, where you can find UNSC issued weapons like Assault Rifles. Another dimension is somewhere inside a Covenant craft. Strange blue lights illuminate this weird, alien dimension. Each dimension holds two Two-Way Nodes. These help the combatants travel through the dimensions. It has been tinkered so that player cannot enter a Node in one room and come out the other Node in the same room. All Nodes will take you to another Dimension, however, be wary, it is very random. Gameplay Info: While playing Dimension IV, be wary of your player count. The perfect amount of players is 4, however, the map is still functional with 6, or even 8 players! However, although more players still make the map fun, spawn killing starts happening when there are two many players. So be careful. Don't say I didn't warn you. Dimension IV is designed to be disorientating, confusing, frustrating, and fun at the same time! The first three adjectives come from the fact that no matter how hard you try, you probably won't end up in the dimension you want to be in. The teleporters are very random, and thus if you let your prey get into one, chances are you wont end up in the same place as it when you follow into the Node. The Covenant Dimension The Covenant Dimension The Covenant Dimension is designed to look creepy. To enhance this effect, I used purple and blue objects to make the Dimension look like it was truly part of a Covenant Craft. Personnally, Its my favorite one of the bunch (and the most budget consuming). In this Dimension, you can find the only Elite weapons on the map. These include (from memory): Needler 2 Carbines Adhesive Grenades (STICKIESSSSS) The UNSC Dimension The UNSC Dimension is full of, you guessed it, UNSC issued weapons. Also, this Dimension features geo-merged fencewalls, which are impossible for me to do. They took quite some time. The weapon list for this dimension includes (from memory): Assault Rifles 1 Battle Rifle SMGs Fragmentation grenades ('nades, or as I like to call them, 'nads.) The Brute Dimension This wonderful Dimension is very primitive, just like the Brutes like it. It has two platforms upon which the Nodes are situated. The weapon set of this dimension includes (from memory): 2 Spikers 4 Spike Grenades 1 Mauler The Final Dimension This Dimension has no real theme, or anything to base it on. It has many numerous cool features. These include a Chrome Room ( look at the walls in the last picture), a flamethrower, floating fence platforms that you can walk under and jump on top, as well as interesting geometry. This map took quite some time to make, and is often filled with flame filled brawls. The weapon list on this one includes (from memory) Plasma Pistols Flamethrower 1 Incendiary Bomb (firebomb) 1 Bubble Shield Shots of Action Download! || || || \/ Dimension IV Please Rate, Download and Comment! There are few maps that pull off being confusing, yet fun. But since I haven't played on it ,yet, I have no I idea what the gameplay is like. From what the thread has idicated it looks like a 4/5. : )
This looks really great. I have done random teleports before, but never in a map that is playable =P. Also the chrome room is cool, but that must have used a bunch of double boxes. -Jelly
