Thank you This is the latest edition of my map strangle hold. v3 has close to 800 views and that number is still rising. the stranglehold series has over 50 downloads, and this map is by far the best of the 4. This map has also received a 9/10 on tw khaotik's competitive map review thread. an updated center structure now has 3 different heights and more noticeable points of entry. the back corner structures have been tweaked, and now have a third height that is accessible. the bridges that connect to the back structure now start at the back corner structures to mimic the red base on the opposite side of the map. the sword has been removed and replaced with the shotgun. the gravlifts have been removed because they cause problems with map boundaries. plasma pistols have also been added, to spice up gameplay. i hvae only tuned the map for ctf and ts. koth will be available instead of flag in the MLG version which will be released later this week. i like the map nice job but on the ground, you should try to have some cover cause its never fun when ther are prople killing you that the person on the ground doesnt have a chance at killing
I would have liked this better if it ws asymetrical. Still the center structure looks cool and I can see nice interlocking and geoglitching.
I only saw a few places where you geo-merged but anyway great map. The pics do it justice. The cover on the ground is definitely a +.
wait a sec didnt I just DL a V3???? sorry but im not gonna downlaod because I dont want 2 diffrent versions every month no offence. even though this map is great
i know i was thinking of waiting to release it but im really bored. adn once i get on a forging role, a bunch of ideas pop in my head.
i'd say in total this map has taken me about 40-50 hours. i spent yesterdaya and some of today working on v4
i like it it looks good the interlocking is nice and nice design but it doesnt seem very creative to me but still its really good so ya nice job
looks prety good frm what i've seen. you have nice interlocking. i also liked the centerstruckture. nice job!
yah you may need a lil more cover but it looks good. it kind of reminds me of what im making right now
que'd for download i see 10 handfuls of interlocked objects and it looks so fun to play on. one tip would be to throw a weapon holder on top of the barriers instead of a node it looks much better. 6.5/5
thanks to every one who downloaded this map, i am going to hold off on making a v5 to see how many downloads this will because i think it deserves more than it has.
i appreciate your comments but would like more detailed ones so i kno what i can fix. saying the map is too bare doesnt help
