Ever notice how in a game film you can view your first-person perspective, but not anyone else's? You're forced to watch over the shoulder of everyone else. Well there is a way to see the world from their eyes in a Campaign film.

During the film, if you have the camera following a teammate when a cutscene is triggered or when you both die and it must restart at a previous checkpoint, you can click the right thumbstick to see their first-person perspective. But once you leave that perspective, you can't get back into it without another cutscene or restarted checkpoint.

I know it works on 2 person co-op, but I don't know about 3 or 4 person games. Also, I don't know if it is host-dependent, but i don't think it is.

I'm not sure if there is any use for this technique. I've known about it for a while, but I just decided to share it.

Yea, I've noticed this. I wish you could see another person's perspective on MM that isn't on the same screen. If you are playing with a player who shares the same TV screen as you, you can see their first person screen as well.

Before H3 was released and Bungie was flaunting their "new Theater mode" they said you can hop into anyone's PoV and watch it from their perspective...giving new insight into their habits and playstyle as well as opening up new routes for videomaking...

I read this in GameInformer and a few other places...

so I was sad when they dropped the feature...especially without announcing it :C

this technique makes slight amends for it...THANK YOU SIR!

I always assumed that they were referring to your ability to "attach" the camera to any player and it shows you where they are looking, etc. But that's a third person perspective, so it was a little misleading of them.
