Killer King v1.0 I made this game type & map last night, and me and my buddies played all night just laughing our a$$'s off. Its really fun, and I hope you injoy it as much as i do.... Also, please limit the title of this thread to the map name only. It makes it easier for people to scan the boards to find what they are looking for. I will edit the name a second time. Third time gets it locked. Also, try not to spell curse words with symbols. This forum doesn't have a language filter to avoid. But we still like to keep it clean. To avoid getting this thread locked for other reasons, please read the forum rules that I've already linked you to.

You want it to look very neat and professional to get the most downloads a greatest comments. If you just go out there and post a short text description with a download link you most likely won’t get any downloads from many of us at Forge Hub. A proper map post does not require many things, but the things that it does require are very important in getting the quality passed on to the reader. Here is a short list of important things: Have a detailed description Have embedded screenshots Have a link to your map, not your fileshare Key word here IS Suggestions not every one likes B.net's forums, and i'd be one of them...... -DFB

I agree, everyone on the B.net forums seems to be a little self-centered. All they care about is downloads. That's why we're trying to create a better community here. For example, our members take the extra time to publish a map to the B.net threads so that the Forge Hub community doesn't have to scroll through the file share. No one said you have to spend a lot of time on the B.net forums. Just post the map and gametype and never look back. Be refusing to publish to the B.net forums, it tells me that you don't care about making things easier for this community. It tells me that you want people to look at all of the stuff on your file share, probably hoping that they will click on a few other things while they are there and you will get more downloads. To summarize, it tells me that you are self-centered and only care about downloads, just like everyone else on the B.net forums. So here's another suggestion for you: try to follow the guidelines set my the senior members of this community so that you can be part of the solution and not part of the problem. Otherwise you might just find out that not all the staff and moderators are as patient as me. It would be a shame if you had to surf the B.net forums because someone banned you from Forge Hub. Really, is publishing to B.net too much to ask?
This post pisses me off. You double posted, argued with two very importent people on this site, linked to your file share, and now you act like a ****, ruining the forge hub community. Do you really think that doing this is going to help you get downloads? If people kept posting like you did, this would be no different then the b.net fourms, and would ruin the purpose of the site. The reason why the staff are so strict is to keep the quality of this site better then just a collection of crap maps. I dont even want to post this, it'll bump your piece of s***. Newbies coming to this site from b.net really have to get some respect for the rules.

Please repost your map in the correct manor. Not publishing to Bnet shows you don't care enough to post, why should we? This isn't an abuse of power, we are setting uniform guidelines so everyones map is equal. @hippo, your comment was necessary. Never psuedo-mod again, Furious's comment was enough.
