A similar map to the MLG Onslaught played best on either a team slayer or capture the flag varient. Weapons on this map include: 8 Battle Rifles, 2 Maulers, 2 Rockets (dont worry they respawn every 90 seconds and have only 2 shots) 2 shotguns, 2 turrets, 2 snipers, 2 brute shots, and of course grenades. download here
looks like a good map, but there is no interlocking, and way too many things that MLG doesn't use, like a turret 7/10
I became worried when you wrote 2 rocket launchers and I became more so when you said 90 second respawn. If you must have two put them at at least 150 seconds.
ya i was thinking about doing that, i will probably go back and end up just taking out the rockets and turrets
good idea other than that the brute shot isnt mlg either and you should interlock a bit to make it more presentable
ya i know brute shot isnt mlg, but when did i say this was only for mlg games i only said the map layout is similar to Onslaught and besides mlg settings get kind of boring after a while, all it is is BRs
im curious to why you didnt interlock because you interlocked the wall to block off part of the map. for a non interlocked map its pretty good 3.5/5
honestly this is the type of map design that really doesnt require interlocking at all. good job jdub keep it up
Bit too many power weapons, and the map doesn't look all that good, I would say re think the weapons, add some automatic weapons, use some interlocking and geo merging and youll be fine.
Yea people need to stop worrying about interlocking. maps dont need to be interlocked to be fun. people just DL maps because there interlocked and they need to stop making such a big deal about it.
Looks very fun to play although interlocking couldve made this mape way better good placement of the scenery objects tho i love it3.9/5
its true , interlocking isnt essential. but if you want your map to be recognized as great, which every one does to an extent, then interlocking is the way to go. its not even that hard
Any areas where you must walk on need to be interlocked. Don't try to fool yourself. Grenades get stuck in the crevices, and the infamous "bouncing" action occurs when walking. Also, it just looks nicer overall. I know your thinking you don't need to, but you should get into the habit of interlocking EVERYTHING. Even the simplest things like A and B signs a little into the ground so the fence part doesn't show. A good map doesn't need interlocking, but an excellent one does. If you don't interlock your just being lazy because it takes about an extra fifteen seconds and has great results. Another thing you should keep in mind, is that a lot of the people who say "it doesn't need interlocking" and crap usually don't do it themselves because they are lazy. Do you want to be one of them? Oh and to those of you who don't know what geo merging is, it is a technique to push objects slightly into foundry itself. You can learn how to do this here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1JTlMklEA0
Looks fun, I love vertical combat! But I think you should remove at least one of the turrets, and rockets, they're a little too much. But looks like a good map all in all.
