I think we should just have one thread for this that can be used during each tournament and in the time in between. Anyway some really interesting team changes have gone down: -Team Classic drops Fear and picks up Naded, Fear is now on The Influence -Believe the hype currently consists of: Silent, Gun shot, Eli, and Cloud (pretty sick line up) -Carbon drops Ghandi and picks up Cpt. Anarchy -I've a rumor that instinct traded Snip3down for Victory X, not confirmed. Crazy ****.
I didn't realize trades happened so often in the rosters. Other than playing with Snip3down in matchmaking once(major douchebag), I have one more thing to say: The tournament announcers really need some work, I swear, when I was watching the records of Saturday night, and they had that part with Final Boss getting beaten by Believe the Hype, I heard him say "Believe the Hype" so many times.
So they're switching back to their old teammate again, bad move IMO. Snipedown was the only person on Instinct that could actually do something against Str8. I'm terribly disappointed at seeing Classic drop Fear, he was a great player, now I better see them win something soon with their new line-up.
I wish fear didn't go to The Influence of all teams. Triggers if the Snip3down thing is true will probably be my favorite team. Okay so this is all official: IM here to clarify. Str8- T2, Neighbor, Legit, ElamiteWarrior Instinct- Lunchbox, Roy, Mackeo, Victory x (Fun fact: They got 3-0ed by TC,Y wouldnt they bring this lineup back) FB- Ogre 2, Ogre 1, Walshy, Strongside TD- FearitSelf, SK, Hysteria, Snip3down TC- Legend, Naded, Ant, Soldier187 Carbon- Shockwave, Karma, Ghostayame, Cpt Anarchy Fearitself posted this
TD has a sick line-up, and yeah, I'm really pissed that Fear went to the Influence. Naded better do something good for Classic. I remember that series with Instinct and Classic, it was absolute rape. After the game Legend was all cocky saying, "I hope we play them again because they didn't give us much." LOL.
Just to throw something out there, I reckon that Final Boss should drop Ogre 1 for Tsquared. Then they would be the best, 99% of the time.
That would never, ever happen. First of all, the Ogre twins would stay together at all times, and I doubt T2 would even think about leaving Str8 to go play with FB. It would be taking apart a winning combination, which you never want to do in any sport. Str8 has an amazing team right now and ripping it apart now would be plain stupid. FB has their team, and Str8 has their team, I don't think they're going to change.
I know sports way better than I know mlg stuff, but someone posted this somewhere else and I found it interesting.
I know way more about hockey than I do about a video game, I just know some of the teams from watching the last few tourneys in the Meadowlands and San Diego.
This is pretty cool LeGendZ = Defy, Gandhi, BesT MaN, TalenT New team I guess that leaves fear a free agent because that's just the influence lineup with gandhi. Hope he finds a place somewhere.
Carbon should drop Cpt Anarchy and pick up Fear, he is too good of a player not to have a team. I hope he gets on a decent team and not a no-name, because I actually enjoy watching him play.
although it obviously won't/can't happen, FB needs to drop OGRE1. He's the weakest player on the team, and one of the weakest players on the Halo 3 circuit. But obviously Ogre2 probably wouldn't go with walshy and strongside without his brother, and he's a big factor. this season's going to be excited everything is really competitive
This is actually a misconception that I had for a wile. MLG has the VOd on demand up and if you watch OGRE1 he's disgusting. He doesn't miss BR shots, he just gets overshadowed by his brother and strongside. Xanon orlando is july 11-13 And in an interesting bit of news Fear and Gandhi are now on the same team, awesome.
Awesome, I'm glad Fear will be able to do something with a good team now. God, I'm pissed that I'm going to be away for MLG Orlando.
aight,im markin my calender for Florida touney. And I wanna see what Fear and Ghandi will perform in the team.
Yes, Ogre 1 is huge for FB. He is one of the best support players around, and when he needs to, he can be nasty himself (watch Meadowlands top play). Without him, that team would be a bunch of slayers. I don't agree with Carbon dropping Gandhi for Cpt. Anarchy. The closest Anarchy has come to winning anything was being on Str8 before they were at top team (coincidence? I think not). Ghandi hasn't been playing well the past two tourneys because he hasn't been practicing much, but he has so much natural talent. Now that school is over, I was expecting him and the rest of Carbon to dominate. Weird for Instinct to drop Victory X for one tourney and pick him back up especially with the way Snipedown performed. Classic now has a ton of slaying power with the addition of Naded. I always thought Fear was their weakest player anyway. tD should be the same way since they added Snipedown. Edit: It is weird how much Ambush was hyped up before San Diego only to lose their two best players (Snipedown and Eli). It will be interesting to see what Believe the Hype can do with that big name lineup.
