Like mallets map, lunar chronicle. I can float items, just curious how mallet did it so well.

you get the object where you need it, save the map, and then without leaving the start menu, end the game. when you restart the game, the object should be floating where you left it.

but first you must get outside the map using a reciever node and fording it outside the elastic barriers.

Thanks guys, but I think you kinda missed what i was saying. I know how to float, I'm just curious how mallet got it so amazingly straight.

I made a floating Blackout map too, but I started it before Mallet (I finished it like a month later than he did; I worked on it since April 24th and posted it like June 15th, it's named Interrobang and is in my sig if you care).

Anyway, I got the objects flat and level due to how they spawn. When I first broke outside the barrier, I spawned a double box in midair, and didn't mess with the sticks at all. Because objects are perfectly straight when you spawn them, I simply saved and quit right after spawning that first object. When I restarted the game, I simply aligned all of my structures based on that object. To do this, simply save quit objects up against the first one. For instance, I save-quitted some bridges to its bottom in order to give myself a flat space to work on. I then proceeded to use these floating bridges as a floor upon which to set the next double box and interlock it with the first, and so on until I had the massive Interrobang map.

Hope I helped! If you have any questions, message me. ;)

lol debo is the master now so you should definitely take his advice. but im working on a black out map of my own and i do it a little different then he does. first thing i do is the same thing as debo. save the first box with out touching anything. then i placed a receiver node on the top of the box right on the edge but keeping it level. i also do this on the sides and bottom of the box. then i use those teleporters to place the box in perfect position! i dont know if debo's way or my way is better cus i never tried his way... but thats my way

Yeah Debo I actually looked at your thread before and it looked pretty awesome, but I never got the chance to check it out (360 is being uncool). I will do that as soon as i get the disc tray to close:)

And yeah your post helped me muchly..+rep lol (Edit: oops debo, It was too soon after giving you rep for your guide, but i'll remember to when I can again)

Thanks too evan, but that was a bit more confusing lol (rep)

here's how I think it could be done. May be tedious but hey.
spawn a bridge, do not move or rotate it in anyway, Save & Quit.
Hopefully it should be parallel with the ground(perfectly flat)
because its flat, just lay the items items ontop or below.
Just use support. Making a great floating map on Blackout, will take time, a lot of time.
