Stickball map/gametype thread

    pinecone2654's Stickball Map Collection:

    OK OK OK... I know that I'm not the first to post a stickball map/game variant, but I want to share what I think is a pretty good set of mini-game maps. Oh, and I've added my own twist by trying to make the game feel more like dogeball. In each of the maps, the game will start with grenades only on the two yellow lines until 10 seconds have passed, when the rest of the grenades spawn (Also, the first available grenades on the middle lines won't come back).
    EDIT: After some suggestions from the FH community, I have updated my maps. They now have center lines made of window panels so that players can't cross sides, and gameplay is compromised to a small degree. The old maps are still available below the links at the bottom of the post.

    note:
    The old Crazy Stickball was updated. There are no more grav lifts and the power-ups have been lowered so that they are easier to access but still cannot be reached by standing underneath them to make sure that players can't recieve them upon spawning

    Gametype Specs:
    Score to Win: 25
    Time Limit: 5 minutes
    Custom Power-up (if applicable): Invincible, 300% speed, pink, grenade regeneration.
    Players have no grenades to begin with.
    Regular Kill (using guns is discouraged): 1 Point
    Stick Kill: 2 Points

    wow nice presentation
    i would concider adding some action pictures (this shows you tested the map)
    other than that this looks great it it very clean aswell
    as for keeping people on their sides have you tried windows? i played on a map using windows and it was very fun
    do you have any penaltys for killing instead of sticking?
    and what starting weapons do you have
    EDIT joe i havnt seen one not on foundry (except one on the pit)

    Thanks for bringing up the thing about the extra specs and action shots. I'll put these in right now. As far as testing goes, I turned on another few controllers and everything went smoothly, and I did take a few action shots of some gameplay. I don't think 6 windows is enough to span the width of the map, and they might inhibit the gameplay a little... sounds like it's worth a try though, so I'll give it a test tonight and get up a variant if I like it.

    Yeah, not the most original, but the first I've seen here so everyone can enjoy, so by default you get credit! I like it! 4/5, but somehow the boxes make me clastaphobic, which is wierd :|

    looks pretty cool, but are people supposed to be able to grab the other powerups? cus if they can, no honor rule is going to stop them 8/10 cus not much pops out to me

    you didn;t make this map,
    its been made for ages now, all you did was add granades

    To get a power-up, just stand below it and jump. And yes, I know that the Honor rule can be very weak, but the only thing keeping people from crossing the center line in real dodgeball is the honor system. It turns out that the Honor system can be both the best and the worst... Thanks for the feback and remember: Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive, and Dodge!!!

    EDIT: BTW Y35, I consider myself to be an honest person and I can assure you that I did not steal any part of this map. Halo 3 has been out for a long time now, and plenty of people have had the chance to create maps like this. Either way, thank you for replying...

    looks fun but you also metioned grav lifts. This is a problem since your walls aren't very high and escape would be easy
