Grifball

Seems to me it would have been alot cooler of bungie to recognize some of the infinate number of other Basketball, rugby and football game types out there **created by players** rather than giving all the kudos to the production team form Blue v. Red...

I mean...it's not like any of this is new, other than the map and all the attention Bungie has decided to shower on them for it.

 

This is probably the best rugby mode there is though. It's just the map, bungie stickied it, and it's just Foundry canvas, which is also on bungie favorites, but slightly changed for the mode.

 

All custom games night is gonna turn into is everyone shouting, "GRIFBALL!" at the top of their lungs.

 

That would be going too far with the Grifball love. But a few games wouldn't go amiss, at all.

Bungie is probably trying to make a point that if you put the effort into something it can turn out to be a very good game. Grifball is one of the best put together "ball" games I've seen in Halo 3 yet.

 

Rather fun game. Would love to see it in match making

 

Original name it is very unusal map maker is very good at taking real thing/ games to the game

 

Who ever made griffball can has Recon.

ah man Griff ball is awsome , but thats just my opinion,

the map is simple , really really simple , but i sometimes less is more (hehe)

griff ball is accually a fun game to play in 2v2 but is best played 3v3 or higher,
i played (i accually hav it and love it ) its really fun , i suggest to download and give it a try , i dont know it might not appeal to everyone

 

I'd love to play a proper game of Grifball. I've played 4 v 4 but that was at a friends party and it wasn't too good because half of the players weren't too good gamers.
The other time I played was 2v2, also sucked because my team mate found it rather funny to kill me repeatedly.

 

i dont know why but when i read about this map on Bnet i was annoyed and really didnt want to download it. maybe it was the yellow description, i dont know why. i just moved on to other things.

 

I thought it was fun. I just missed the signup for the winter league

 

This game is so fun while playing with friends.

 

Anyone want to start an official* Forgehub Grifball Team?

We need 7 people I think, but if we have 10 or so we can split the team into 2 and keep the extra 3 on the bench and rotate them in.

I own at this map! I got MVP two matches in a row, and helped keep the other team from scoring at all in the first one!

 

I love grifball. It's a shame I suck at it so much, haha.

 

This is such a fun game to play, I love getting triples on stupid people who decide to try to fly through the air.
