Hey all, my first real post here; here goes. Here are three screenshots posted from a fictional photo tour of the city of Villa del Terra Nueve on the planet Canto Paradisio. The idea behind this series of shots was to convey a sense of entrenched urban warfare between a central, interplanetary government (here called the Federals, owners of the fictional "Core Sectors") and a rebel group formerly in control of many distant colonies that are generally resentful of Federal rule. The rebels are known as the Brotherhood of Allied Worlds, and are shown here at two of their redoubts around the city. I hope to have a number of shots based in this fiction, and to carry the idea to many maps and locales. Photos courtesy of the Still and Motion Image Corps, Universal Media Conglomerate. I hope you enjoy these shots, and if anybody with more screenshot experience, inspiration or talent has tips on good practices, I'd be glad to hear them. Here's the first photo, Roadblock North According to a Brotherhood spokeswoman, a subterranean weapons cache lies behind this imposing Brotherhood of Allied Worlds roadblock. The second shot, Roadblock West A Brotherhood of Allied Worlds regular makes it plain that this is as far as we go. Taken at a viaduct on the western fringe of Villa del Terra Nueve. This is one of the few remaining "passable" ways in or out of the city. And bringing up the rear is an image you will either find dismaying or elating, depending on your affiliation. This is "Federal Casualty." This image of a Federal sniper felled by mortar fire is emblematic of the bitter conflict still raging on Canto Paradisio. Banned in the Core Sectors because of its potential for use by fringe groups as propaganda; Federal policy maintains an image of invincible soldiers. There they are, hope all find them to their satisfaction. Service Record can be viewed here: Bungie.net : Bungie Online : Halo 3 Screenshots Peace, -Pete
I was tryin to tell a story with a few screenshots, sort of set up a made-up scenario and describe it with images. Think of it as a photographic Halo alternate-reality spur-of-the-moment fan fiction. With laser guns, see? sorry you guys didn't like em, I'll see if I can come up with cooler stuff next time... Take it easy! -Pete
