Kayarque is my map for the lazy mapmakers contest. Therefore, it does not include interlocking or merging. This map is an asymmetrical map that uses all of foundry. It is set up for team slayer up to 10v10, territories up to 10v10, and one flag up to 10v10. The map consists of multiple structures that make having the high ground very important. The map has various weapons with the power weapons being a shotgun and two sniper rifles. weapons: Assault Rifle-3 Battle Rifle-7 smg-1 Spiker-1 Plasma Rifle-1 Carbine-1 Sniper Rifle-2 (120s) Shotgun-1 (120s) 1 clip Grenades: frag-4 plasma-6 spike-2 Screenshots: overview overview 2 overview 3 corner view Courtyard Sniper Perch Sniper Perch 2 Bridge Download: Bungie.net : Community : Forum Topic Listing
I am away from home and so i cant download and explore it but so far it looks really good. The design is strong and im glad you didnt have a huge variety of yeapons and kept it simple. The Power weapons on this map keep skill in play rather than the all powerfu rocket launcher that people tend to use. People might say that you need merging but here it isnt necessary. With or without it it will play the same and merging will only increase aesthetic value. This could be a good idea but not necessary when you already have a good map with good weapons.
Lol, your probably going to get about fifteen comments from people who don't know this is a lazy map making contest. I like what you did here, the sniper tower looks amazing and there are no "bumpy" spots like on other lazy maps. This has a real potential of winning, and after the contest is over, you should add in interlocking and this will be an amazing map.
Looks great, but putting two boxes right next to each other without interlocking (I know it is a lazy map), might hurt game play. Once your done winning the contest, add interlocking, and this will be a 5/5
This looks perfect for BTB 8v8 would work fine and this looks perfect for that contest. Looks fine even with out the interlocking.
it looks neat even without all of the interlocking and stuff. Very nice idea and way to not take the name of the contest too seriosly. (As in "just throw stuff around as if I really was lazy.)
wow that first picture looks very hectic, my only question is...can you get up onto the boxes? or are there only few spots
