What if telling the truth ment the death of everyone one you know.
would the truth still be right or would it be wrong?

Can you give me an example of where that would be true? Then I'll edit this post with my answer.

Casa Blanca is the great example of lying for the greater good.

If a **** asks if you have Jews in your house, what would you say?

My personal views on Truth is to usually tell it. Even if it means me getting in trouble. It is a lot of work to lie, and I am naturally a lazy person. But if it means protecting someone then hell yeah I would lie my ass off.

I'm not sure about his post either. I'll take a go at an example though.
    _______-

If someone had kidnapped you, and was asking the names/addresses of your family and friends, would you tell the truth?

    compared to:

Your parents asking you if you drank the night before, or something simple like that.

If it was a life and death situation, I would lie, yes.
I would not lie to get out of trouble though, that would be wrong.
I would tell the truth for most things, if everyone's not freakin' out.
