I was playing my Halo 3 game with my friend and i threw out a trip mine, the game froze now I have the 'Red ring of Death' appearing on my console. what should I do? I know this isnt the right place to post this but there are more ppl then others.
The trip mine probably had nothing to do with that. I know many people disagree, but I've had the RRoD 4 times, I've never done anything about it, and I've never had any problems. If it's not letting you play however, you need to get it fixed.
Well, almost the same thing happened to me, except I wasn't throwing a trip mine... If you haven't already, unplug all the cables and let it sit over night. If it still has the rings then ya, you have to send it in (call 1-800-4MY-XBOX). Or, you could try the towel trick, but it's only temporary. :-(
Sucks. Well, talk to Microsoft about it and arrange to get it fixed/a new one. I don't know too much, because I'm currently a RRoD virgin. =P
