Getting past the death barrier.

We need to figure out how to do this, and get it in the Forging 101. This would really help many maps.

 

Will this help me find Mario death scream on Valhally?

 

if you read in the video comments the guy who posted the video said that you cant go to forge mode or you will die. what a shame.

I doubt this will actually enable any maps to be made inside the death barrier, since this type of glitch seems to be temporary, lasting only until the round ends or something like that.

 

Assuming the death "barrier" isn't just a "barrier", but the substance that fills the space between the normal gameplay area to the very edges of the map that exists, then maps cannot be made. If you spawn someone inside the death area, they most likely die, or the game will refuse to spawn them there. That's assuming, however, that the death "barrier" is more than just a wall.

 

i have experimented much with death walls. i can get past most of them but some are just to large. i will have to try this.

quite something there... Trying to figure out how to do debug mode, I finally learned the trick behind lowering your weapon. God, that was a hard one to find.

It seemed a bit... complex how the guy in the vid managed to pull it all off. Maybe there's a few steps that could have been avoided?

 

Maybe we should email bungie asking, "Can we haz forge glitches pl0x?"

i would like to point out that even if you could go to forge mode out there the object when spawned would probably disapear just like it does on other maps when you try to spawn things in the deathzone.

Definitely looks cool, but the process seems extremely long and impractical. Hopefully the master minds at HIH will find a more practical way to get past death barriers in the future.
