Hierarch Crown Map Link: Hierarch Crown Gametype Link: Super SMASH Spartans *Use with Super SMASH Spartans gametypes only!* A game idea from the mind of Maxwell360 and brought to life by corduroyCHUCK. Inspired by Nintendo's classic Super Smash Bros, this map has the basic SSB layout as a 2 dimensional styled floating platform where if you're not careful, you'll plunge to your death. Complete with a selection of characters and items that appear on the stage. The stage looks like a giant crown and that's where it gets its name. Overview of Stage Clashing at the Top of the Crown Classic View List of Characters *all characters were created by Maxwell360* Master Chief Weapons- Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Frag Grenades, Bubble Sheild Marine Weapons- Battle Rifle, Shotgun, Frag Grenades, Trip Mine Arbiter Weapons-Energy Sword, Carbine, Plasma Grenade, Grav Lift Sentinel Weapons- Spartan Laser, Sentinel Beam, Plasma Grenades, Power Drainer Brute Chieftian Weapons- Gravity Hammer, Brute Shot, Spike Grenades, Flare Choose the Super Smash Spartans gametype, form 2 teams and you're ready to play. Teams take turns going through the character selection rooms and spawn randomly on the battlefield. Each team has 30 seconds to go through and pick up their characters weapons before they are flushed out by fusion coils; blue base team can enter the character choosing rooms when the man cannon spawns to take them to the teleporter. The team that starts at red base goes through first and waits for the opposing team out on the stage, the second team arrives and the battle begins. The character choosing is very straight forward and easy to figure out, and it's set up to get rid of any honors rules. Fighting in the character choosing rooms is avoided by anti-camping fusion coils that spawn every 30 seconds. The character choosing is very straight forward and easy to figure out. VERY IMPORTANT- the custom powerups turn armor yellow and enable players to pick up weapons and lasts for 10 seconds. Re: Hierarch Crown. for Super SMASH Spartans gametype. Is this the same map that Maxwell360 used in his application? I think it got pretty good responses there. I still haven't had a chance to try it. By the way, those links work but they are pretty ugly looking. I would change them to named links.

Re: Hierarch Crown. for Super SMASH Spartans gametype. i'll be excited to check your halo 3 ssb styled map when it's released Yavi. i'm also working on some more of my own, with improvements to character selecting and different stages. and yes this is the same map that maxwell used in his app. but i think it's better suited to be posted for the community. and i did forge the entire thing.

Re: Hierarch Crown not at the moment, but SSS will be back in an all new map. with character selection completely revamped. i'm going to take elements from actual ssb maps and add halo friendly touches to it. i'm planning on making the anti-camping fusion coils more reliable and effective. they work great as of now, but they can be better. if anybody is up for a video to capture the classic ssb feel, i need some help, maybe testers and a set up to get out of the map to capture the whole thing 2-d style. send me a friend request if you're interested.

Re: Super SMASH Spartans- Hierarch Crown i'm making a second sss map, which will be better than this one. i've also already worked out little bugs and made the anti-camping design more efficient. and its a great follow-up to hierarch crown! and the issue with the blue base teleporter sometimes being blocked has been fixed. the character rooms will also undergo some slight changes. i'm glad you really like it lance, it wasn't an easy forging process and i hope this one keeps up the popularity. It may leave headway for other original maps of a similar nature. thanks,
Re: Hierarch Crown its all about presentation. i feel that a quality presentation reflects how much work you put into a map. I take pride in my screenshot taking and theyre almost as important as the map itself in my opinion. nothing to say about the map and gametype?
Re: Hierarch Crown I thought that I would hate this map/gametype... but I tried it out anyway. Turns out it's actually pretty fun, even with just a few people. Takes a bit of getting used to the spawning, though. I don't know if you can do this, but it'd be nice if 2 players could select 'classes' at a time (spawning on opposite sides of a row of closely spaced teleports). Great idea overall, though.
Re: Hierarch Crown the spawning takes getting used to, but the thing is, it's a completely linear system that forces players to go through the character selection the right way. I first tested the map with players who have never played or knew what sss was and they got it within a round or two. Once the party gets the hang of playing it leads to hours of fun and a completely original style of gameplay. As i release more sss maps, i hope this new idea gains popularity. I know im one of the creators and of course i think its totally great, but i really think this gameplay and map style is going somewhere.
Re: Hierarch Crown What do you mean the spawning takes some "getting used to?" Map looks good though, I think I remember this map from the Super Smash Bro. games. (which may be because it was in there and I can't remember what it was called, and it was called Hierarch Crown).

Re: Hierarch Crown I am pretty sure that Hierarch Crown is a 100% original name, and map layout. I have not come across this in either Super Smash Brothers games so far. It is good enough to be in the game though :squirrel_rubberduck:! Getting used to the spawning is meaning the process. Players take turns choosing classes which is not what most players are used to, very different system... Very interesting, although it has not happened to me and I have played it tons with my friends and brothers, it could be a problem.
Re: Hierarch Crown i fixed the spawning!!! wtf. okay i went through every gametype to make sure i deleted every starting point. it's a really wierd glitch and im hoping its rare, i had experienced it during testing and did everything i could to stop the glitch from happening. for the next ssb map i'll make a node in the level that goes to the level just in case it happens.
