I bet large portions of money that this movie either doesn't get completed, and or sucks serious ass.
I've been trying to get more info for you folks, but despite many calls to Weta studios. I have nothing new. Might go down there when I can afford it and see if that gives me any new info.
Oh, why did you have to bring that up? i'm going to get nightmares again. But yeh, i wonder if they're ever going to even start the movie.
Film makers love to leave little clues etc, so even if hes not a star, we will probably here from him. Im pretty confidend he'll be in it, but not as the main star. Apparently its meant to be cortana.
I was just saying whats more than obvious. Do you really think they will be able to make a fictitious futuristic video game into a semi good movie? no. 9/10 of all these comic book turned movies have been epic fails, and I'm not in the movie business, but I'm pretty damn positive that it would be a lot harder to make a video game into a movie than a book. So whenever it becomes unnecessary (that's how you spell it) to post your opinion on the internet I'll be sure not to, but in the mean time I think I will thanks.
I'm looking forward to the movie. Ever since it was first announced, I had the idea of a sweet action shot: a group of grunts confronts the Chief, who is duel-wielding SMGs. One of the guns runs out of ammo, and right then a grunt throws a plasma grenade right at the chief. The Chief blocks it with the empty SMG, and the grenade sticks. The Chief then throws the SMG into the crowd of grunts and the grenade blows them all to hell. It would be sweet. What do you mean that it won't get completed and/or sucks ass?!? If it isn't made, how could it also suck ass? You should have just said 'or'. He certainly would, at least if they want to stay true to the novels. Spartans never leave their suits.
That was really scary. I first expected to see the face of a guy then it was a girl and i just sat there for a minute shocked. And she was also tanned which was another surprise. That graphic novel was pretty graphic, lots of gore.
Of course I do, I believe there is a little futuristic series out there that is pretty good... its called Star Wars. Who's to say that it has to be bad. Even if it is a video game, I'm very confident that Peter Jackson could do something great with it. Halo has an incredible storyline that can be transformed and inputted into a decent movie, as long as they put adequate time and effort into. Special effects are amazing these days, don't doubt their ability to make the movie look good, I can see some epic action scenes if the movie ever gets completed, which is the biggest problem as these types of movies are very costly.
Actually, there is a good chance that the moviemakers are well underway. This movie is probably so realistically animated that the computer art programmers would need perhaps years of work. They have started probably, it's just it's going to be a while before it's finished. The writer strike may have caused it to setback a year, but so what.
Animated films are generaly made quicker than Non-animated ones, in my opinion. Although the actors state its a much more difficult task.
Yea, the actors say its hard to interact with fake stuff. You might already know this, but for the other people, when actors in movies touch something that doesn't actually exist in real life, they aren't touching anything. If the actors/actresses, for example, put their hand too far out to 'touch' an animated creature, it would appear that the actor/actress would have stuck his/her hand inside the creature, which would make any movie unrealistic. Bluah, too much stuff to tell during summer break.
Metal you and Matty should check out a movie called ONG BAK. And any movie with the main actor in it.
