This kind of map doesn't need interlocking, it's an alternate default foundry, it's not meant to be complex, so stop saying things like, "Interlock" or "More Complex Please." And on the complexity note, a good map doesn't need to be complex either. There are far too many maps out there that are trying to come across as 'complex' that end up playing horrible and just turn out rather crowded. Every once in a while, a simple map is good. ____________- I probably am not going to download this map however, simple is good sometimes, but I don't like layouts like Foundry. Anyway, improvements: Add more cover on the attacker/defender sides, seems a little open.
Nothing really wants me to download it its neat but very bland. It doesn't have much depth to it IMO. But yes it would be a nice default foundry map.
I like your map. You'll quickly learn that 80% of the feedback you will get here will contain the word "interlock," or some form of it. I love this site and there are some wicked awesome boards here, but it is inevitable that people will only notice your interlocking. "Great interlocking" "Needs interlocking" "Needs more interlocking" "Your interlocking needs practice" BlaBhlaBhlaBlaBlah There, I interlocked my "Blahs" for everyone! I, for one, say keep the maps coming. I try to check them all out.
I dont really care if it is interlocked or not. The map looks neat and tidy and i'm sure it will be epic either way. Nice jobz.
omg. a map does NOT NEED interlocking in order to be fun. I just finished making a map with no interlocking, upside-down boxes, or anything, the way bungie did the origonal foundry. And it is awsome.
THANK YOU! Ask yourselves this question: Would interlocking this map hold true to the aura of Foundry's default layout? The simple answer is NO. I have yet to make a Foundry map that doesn't incorporate interlocking to some degree. However, if I were to make an alternative MM layout for Foundry I wouldn't use interlocking either.
