Dissolution A medium-sized map, it is best played on Slayer, Capture the Flag, Oddball, and Assault Backstory Before the UNSC took over the warehouse, a young entrepreneur named William Wonker bought the place to build his lifelong fantasy- a chocolate factory. Unfortunately, all he could afford was cheap labor and bad advertisement. The factory started to buy Grunts as slaves to make the chocolate, but because of they're small size, they often fell into the vats. Reports shot out to FDA and Homeland Security about their conditions. A special team of Marines was sent in to raid the factory and succeeded, facing few casualties. Now you can battle in this once occupied factory. Some say you can still hear Wonkers voice screaming, "Another Grunt fell into the vat! Get a stick!"......not really. WOW, this looks really good. The construction and layout, look great. Brilliant forging shown. I'll dl and report back later, the only thing I dont really like is the weapon placement. two hammers? beam & sniper rifle? both plasma and spike grenades? hmm.
Well, traditionally, both teams are supposed to have a close-quartered weapon, and a long-ranged weapon. One team has a Sniper Rifle, and the Other has a Beam Rifle. Each team also has a hammer. I never liked shotguns, and I figured a hammer would better suit the map. Each also has 2 spike grenades, because really, what is Halo without grenades? The plasmas are harder to find, though
Well not really. Generally there's a Close quarters weapon in the center of the map. Serious competetive maps dont have both plasma and spike nades. I could understand 2 shotties, but two hammers would be bad. With the shotty, you pick up the dropped ammo, you kill the guy with the hammer, there's no guarantee that the other hammer will not be picked up. Ever wondered why there's never 2 swords or 2 hammers or 1 of each on a map. How many spare clips does the sniper rifle have, and what is each weapons' respawn time.
I agree completly on the pit both teams have snipers as they do on valahalla, High ground is sniper vs laser, guardian is neutral or sniper vs shotgun I cant remember the list goes on! Btw this map is a breath of fresh air gj dling now
Reminds me of the map reflex. Has a nice general layout which it good plus it has a ghost so yeah it seems like a good overall map.
But this only applies to asymmetrical maps where teams start in different situations, his map is symmetrical so weapons and placements should be the same on both sides.
looks really good. beatifully merged. but it seems like there is too much power weapons other than that it looks great
Okay, after a forgethrough here are my findings, I completely stand by what I said. This map is beautiful. Construction, layout merging, all great. What'll kill this map is you didnt take enough care in its playability. Weapons are all on default settings. Please fix that, you have 2 snipers, 2 hammers, all with a 30 second respawn, that will ruin your maps playbility. I'm assuming you didnt test this, because I cannot imagine it flowing right with those weapon settings. Also, not a big deal, I escaped the map using the hammer. The dumpster collumn type thing, I jumped there and then hammer jumped out. I dont see that happening mid game though. Otherwise a beautiful map. I give it 6.5/10. This could've been a possible 9 or 9.5 but the issues with the weapons has really lost it some points. I hope you take this into consideratio and not consider it as me flaming this map. I think it has a lot of potential but you have to fix the weapon settings.
