Phylum Description: With all the new Asymetrical masterpeices coming out I thought it might be a good time to do a new symmetrical map since theres been a lack recently. Phylum has been my main project for the last little while since I finished Symmetry. I tried to take a different direction with this map, the biggest change from most symetrical maps is that the bases are not placed on the standard walls most forgers choose, there on the long walls instead of the short walls. This was done because although the map is mainly a two base, There are four warlock style bases in the corners! Each Base has a really well done top section players may use to their advantage, and players may only base to base shoot from the second level.The map play's MLG TS, MLG CTF, MLG Oddball, But the map truly shines in the gametype it was made for: MLG Hill. The Hills are located in the two towers on the sides, but theese towers are bulit different and easier to nade than Onslaught, as well as players must jump to reach them, no ramp. Every thing that needs be Geo Glitched is. The spawns work really well and every test game has yielded perfect results. Although I don't like symmetrical maps too much, this one looks great. The center is very nicely forged. I'll download and check it out
i like your forging capabilities, but this map looks somewhat bare. maybe in a V2 add some more cover. but other than that your map looks great and i look forward to see what maps you put out in the future.
Looks grat the weapons are good nice with grenades i love grenades oh man i suck at mlg now since i cant play for a very long time looks great tho but how do you get on top of purple and gold tower
i like the upside down signs as cover because they can also act as window because you cant shoot through them
this looks amazing! the inter locking is great and the base color markers are useful... ****.5/***** 4.5/5 or 9/10
This map is sweet. I love the center structure. It must have taken awhile to make this but it def. payed off.
I remember playing this. I thought it was pretty solid for an MLG map. U have some pretty interesting bases, I love that little fence wall jump thing to get up to the side bases. Overally I can't say too much but that it is a better MLG map than many.
Excellent map, was happy to do some playtests on it. The switching of the bases was a cool idea, and the spawns are excellent.
nice job crossed, but it looks too much like onslaught . jk, this map had some pretty fun playtest though.
