do we really need it? sometimes when me and my friends play btb or social skirmish and i dont hear them until i say "oh and it is push to talk." i think we dont need it. whats the worst that can happen if we dont? some1 runs their mouth off where the other 7 people at above them? i dont think so Plus we cant lower weapons on xbl and we have to push like 5 weapons to do so. really? do we need that too?
Bungie for whatever reason thinks it's a good idea, even though everyone hates it. They say it cuts down on "random chatter" or something.
I don't hate it one bit in Match making. Actually I'm glad it's there while in Match making. But it would be nice to be able to edit Push-to-Talk settings while in Forge, or in a custom game...
Amen. Also, I personally find it to be a great thing that you have to push to talk in bigger parties, because I ABSOLUTELY hate it when people talk on the phone & don't care about anyone else playing, they just sit there and jabber away... there is a great arby n the chief episode examplifying this...but i don't have the time to go scanning through all them episodes, rofl
What? people talking carelessly on the phone? yes, but there is a much better chance it will happen on btb considering there are more people... If you were asking if there is a push to talk in 4v4 (which i dont think you are / hope you are)...then no, 4v4 has no push to talk... sorry your question was very vague...
I guess it's ok, seeing as I talk to myself (jk), well I talk to my brother most of the time and randoms think I'm scitzophrenic. And the on/off button on the chat pad mic always gets lost in my shirt lol.
Push-to-Talk isn't that bad. It's awesome for when there's this one guy that won't quit playing his loud ''gangsta'' music, or for the little kids. I could mute them, but sometimes that actually have something valuable to say.
