Map Title: Trench Warfare V2 The updated version of trench warfare, complete with underground tunnels and fixed spawns Trench Warfare V1; Trench Warfare Version 1 Download Map Description: Version two is here! most of the critisism on the first map was about tunnels, so here they are! The tunnel follows the trench shape, and you can enter the tunnel from three directions; each starting area and a drop-down from the edge of no mans land. a rocket spawns in the tunnel below the turrets, and this element makes the combat spread all over the map. There's also one shotgun in each side of the tunnel (if you go right from the tunnel entrances), and instead of stairs as ramps, there are crates. The crates makes the people above able to ambush eachother, and shoot on the people below. I also added two barriers on top of the trenches in the beginning, added more spawns all over the map and added spawn areas to prevent spawn-killing. To reach the rockets from the top-part, you'll have to drop down from no mans land through a fencebox ( i realize now i could have used some scenery in the background. D'oh.), but as in the previous version, the no mans land is risky. Also, in the starting areas, i added two new different ways to get out of there; The tunnel entrances and a dumpster in the back, to add a little depth in the spawns. that would be hard, since then you would not be able to shoot out of them. Yes of course there is a way, but that would ruin the concept. besides, i had to remove stuff to even afford to make a version 2, and i have about 20 bucks left, so i cannot make it so that you can't jump out of the trenches, sorry.
if you vote on the poll, please tell me what i did good / bad. don't just vote "i did not like it" without saying why, because what's the point of telling me it's not good if you don't help me improve my forgery? that way, my other maps may turn out equally bad to you.
sorry for double-post. i'll edit next time. haha, good i played it FFA with two other people, and as i said in version one, spawns does not work well in FFA since the respawn areas are set to attackers and defenders. EDIT; sorry again, didn't see second page. man, i need to be more alert. Thank you, yes the floor took a while =)
yes indeed, they allow for more routes out of the spawn-area to prevent spawn killing, and they are also a good compliment for the empty no mans land.
