This is the first map I have used Interlocking on! Its basically a attack and defend map but is good on other gametypes. Backstory The UNSC tried to maintain order during the 2300 uprisings by blocking off Warehouses and Resources. The Colonists found other ways in... Gametypes Assualt All capture the flags(1 flag is best) Infection-Fun to play and its not hard for the zombies like tons of other maps. Team Slayer Recommended people is 8-12. Attackers Spawn #1 Colonists other way in lol Invis guarded by Fusion Cores Attackers 2nd Spawn Frontal view of defenders base Backview of Defenders base- Flag would be in middle Hog ready for action and a nifty teleporter Teleporter leads to Radar Jammer and top entrance to flag Overshield ontop of some boxes Attackers Guard Tower, Equiped with rockets and a turret Download
this is a good map it doesn't have any interlocking but i am okay with it, it looks really well done it has my aplaud "clap" "clap"
this map looks ok could use some work but looks like a zombies map might wanna tell us what this map is fun on 3.5/5
Meh I tried to interlock floors lol... And I intended it for CTF, but is also a good Infection and I did list the gametypes that work well with it in my post.
This map is a good example of a map that doesn't need a lot of interlocking to look very good, and play pretty good. Nice job.
You might want to look at this map, because the name Lockdown has been used in an MLG map, which was featured here on FH... It's still your own map and your design completely, but I thought you might want to know that the name has been used in another map which is quite popular, and it might cause some confusion.
Ah... Well when I get the chance I will change it. Any suggestions on a new name lol? Ima have to update the Download link aswell then. Right now Im thinking Uprising or Retaliation
I really don't think the name matters, it's the map that matters. It looks quite well layed out but i think more interlocking should be used, i understand it's your first time and your still getting used to it but interlocking is the key to a good looking map.
Like I said... the map is completely his design, but I was just warning him that a very popular map has been named Lockdown already and it was featured on FH. This was just to avoid any confusion. I did not tell him to change the name of the map, nor does he have to because it is completely his map, as long as he doesn't intend to deceive anyone. And interlocking may be key to making a good looking map, but that doesn't mean anything for gameplay. Its getting really sad how people are starting to choose aesthetics before gameplay. It doesn't matter how good a map looks, if it doesn't play well, its not worth keeping.
it looks pretty nice but nothing super out of the ordinary. I do like the broken fences with the truck, though. I thought that was a nice touch.
