MLG Cleansing

    Shield doors ruin maps in my opinion. Snowbound would be a descent map if everyone didn't camp the shield doors with plasmas and shotties; Epitaph is just bad.

    Replace the shield doors with fence walls or something.

    But How will they get out when they go for the mauler? Unless u mean just one fence wall per shield door instead of 2

    You can put up just one fence wall. Personally, I would geomerge 2 fence walls halfway into the ground so players could jump on top or over them to keep moving.

    Either idea works.

    This map looks very bland, and its not very original. Its just a very generic map.​

    Sure, it kind of gos by mlg rules but...

    CONS
    -2 snipers in such an open map
    -to top of the snipers, a rocket launcher in the middle of an open map
    -very little cover
    -Sloppy forging
    -Very little interlocking
    -the shield doors would annoy me

    All around it looks very bland. I don't see any aesthetic features. Add more of that, clean stuff up, and add more cover.

    [EDIT] I see the weapons aren't actually the ones in the pic, that just shows you were a little to lazy to change the pics...

    some interlocking may be nice, and at parts it seems a little sloppy (not a lot). But you have taken a lot of care in weapons placement (from the pics, anyway, try to include a weapons list)

    Geomerging is one of the tougher aspects of forging, but it makes a huge difference if done right.

    Geomerging, for me, is a pain in the ass, as well as lining up walls with no spotters.

    Also, you could just plop down one or two dumpsters in place of the shield doors.

    I dont want to sound mean but this is an insult to MLG maps.
    No interlocking is shown, no real thought in object placement looks visble.
    That first pic is of "the mauler spawn" and yet there's a rocket there.
    This is a very unimpressive map. 1/5

    1. no geomerging or interlocking or if there is i see none of it
    2.mlg maps don't have sheild doors.....they promote camping...
    3.eh not all that great 2/5 *rockets in mlg should not exist*

    To me it looks sloppy, badly layed out, not interlocked, square, and doesn't seem to have any aesthetically pleasing scenery.

    Soz if this is abit harsh but, i wouldn't normally be this harsh but even the stairs on pic "red base" aren't straight.

    I would take this map, add some more cover, straighten things up, hopefully add interlocking and possibly put another layer onto it.

    Also try to steer clear of the "square" look. Angle things and make curves where possible.

    The pictures are from the first version the second version doesn't have any pictures yet. In the second version there is more interlocking and geomerging. The rocket was replaced by a mauler. 2 of the shield doors were replaced by fence walls and the other 2 were replaced by geomerged doors. The Snipers were also replaced with BRs
