Map Title: Hammerfall SLOGAN/SHORT DESCRIPTION Download Map Description: Realizing there lack of numbers, the Marines dug in at Hammerfall. The last outpost before D.C. This is my third map to date. I tried to make this one a bit smaller, but at the same time keep multiple levels and angles to shoot/hide from. I only have the map set up atm for KoTH and Slayer. Feel free to edit the CTF gametypes.(I have not had any exp. messing with the flag spawns and such.) There are 2 bases and the level uses half of the Foundry stage. I am still new to forging but any tips or criticism is appreciated. This level features a lift, tower base, tunnels, 2 ponds, and some fun little nooks and crannies. loooks very nice. i like the construction of the map, but it could use some more interlocking in places
I like it! You use a lot of the map, but it doesn't seem open! That's what a lot of people have trouble with is making the map feel more enclosed, like a slayer map. Anyway, excellent job, keep bringing us these excellent maps O Doyle!
yea the bunker with the BR leaning on the bridge is spretty good this map is great and looked like you put a lot of work in but it could use just a tad more interlocking but good job 5/5
wow this looks very nice and clean but there are some places that could use more interlocking. other than that nice job
Looks very good. the only improvement that you could implement would be to flip the boxes. It won't change gameplay, (the boxes are mapped as perfectly flat on all sides) but it will make the map look even better. You don't have to delete or move anything to do it either. Just set objects in the way to not spawn at start, and be sure to set them to spawn at start when you're done. I'll Dl. If you want I'll do the Box flipping for you. To everyone complaining about interlocking, I didn't see a single part of the map that actually needed it. Lay off, a good map does not interlocking require.
this looks very good and all, but those non-interlocked boxes are giving me problems downloading =( try interlocking them, (make them smooth) v2! Capture Out!
Looks nice and interlocked ill DL The only thing that could help (like he said) would be flipping the boxes and bridges over for a smoother and cleaner look. The map still looks fantastic. 100% = 5/5
Thanks everyone for the feedback. When I get back tonight I will try flipping the main floor of boxes over to make it smoother like a couple people have suggested. I will maybe try to extend the wall up if I can to enclose the area a bit more.
I really like the contruction of the map, Its the BR tower that caught my eye. The only thing that isnt good about the map is that it could use some interlocking in places. Other then that, This map is terrific.
what do u mean? there are alaways maps on foundry...i bet that at least 1/2 of all custom maps are on foundry.
