When you put starting points into a slayer/Koth/oddball gametype, when you're trying to configure for FFA as well as team, shouldn't players in a team game spawn at the "attacker/defender" labeled starting points and players in a FFA game spawn at the "neutral" labeled starting points.

For some reason, I've played team games on some of my maps where players would spawn at the neutral starting points instead of the designated attacker/defender ones.

    Am I missing something here?

its because they are only starting points, therefore you will only start on them, im not sure if you can respawn on them so someone will have to correct me there.

I know that, when I said spawn I meant spawning at the beginning of the game (a.k.a. start). Someone please answer the actual question.

If you don't place enough starting points for one side (the attacker's) for example, they will spawn on the neutral starting points. Try placing at least 8 per side

Don't use neutrals, they aren't really purposeful. Just stick with all labeled ones..attackers and defenders will account for person 1 and person 2. You only need one SP per team as well.

Well, you see, neutral means that both teams can spawn on them, not just FFA games. People wont spawn on the team ones in FFA, but people in Team games can spawn on the neutral.

    Thanks, that makes sense.

Anyway, I found my own solution. If you put just one starting point for each team, then in team games the other players will spawn on the nearest respawn point (which is usually pretty close), and in FFA two players will spawn on the starting points and the rest will spawn on respawn points as far away from each other as possible.

If anyone has a better solution, go ahead and tell me.

I think Snipers Stealth summed it up, and you have the best solution. Just try that, i'm sure it'll work.
