Well about a week ago (or around whenever the Battlefield demo came out) I tried to download the new Battlefield demo. Very happily, because I really anticipated this game after playing Battlefield 2, I download the demo. I wait and wait, and it is going really slow. Like 1% every minute or more. After a while, it gets to 30% and decides that it can't be downloaded. I just wasted an hour waiting. I've performed maintainence on the device through the memory and stuff, I've made sure I have plenty of room, I even have downloaded other game demos and videos from Xbox. Still, I try today and no successful download. I've removed the hard drive, deleted the 30% of the demo that I have and tried again, kept the Xbox off for a while, but can't figure out how to get it to work. I know the game is coming out in a few weeks but this probably will happen again and I'd like to fix it sooner than later. My Xbox is only a few months old, the hard drive has about 4 free gigs. Any ideas? I really don't feel like calling Microsoft unless I have to.
that always happens if you try to DL something new and popular the same day it comes out, because every other person on XBL is doin the same thing at the same time
this may be a combination of you having poor internet connection and microsoft being to cheap to ever have enough bandwidth for anything, but pretty much i'd just wait it out, or if your really anxious call microsoft.
For a starrt, if your gona bump, dont write bump o_0 back on topic, maybe restore to factory settings, recover gamertag and try again. Or, just wait it out.
What I was going to say exactly. But if you really want to tk and lag, I would try downloading on a second account, or using a freinds would work too, then move the game file from your (or thier) HDD to a memory stick then dl it directly to your xbox, that should work.
Well I've been a long time fan of Battlefield, so I'd get it no matter what. I'm far away from anyone I know with an Xbox, so I'll have to wait until summer ends.
