This is my first map that I'm serious about so please enjoy ;D It is a bank on Foundry In this pic u can see the front door, the booth which has no purpose, and the grav lift. the bank has 2 floors a top floor NOTE: the walls now have the ceiling on them ABOVE THE VAULT IS A TELE TO THE NADE ROOM read on AND a bottom I got this idea from the window panes which are teller windows If you are defending you are gaurding the Vault which has the flag The only way to get in the vault is to throw a grenade above the doors and blow the fusion coils throw through the red not white (as you will find im very anti-camper) also dont camp in your own vault... The flagtaker doesnt kill in 1 hit so they will need your help or... or they can hide the flagstealer has to get the flag down the allyway to the getaway car ^^^that helps a bundle^^^ there is a fence box overlooking the allyway so defenders can shoot the flagholder The Attackers spawn in the normal Foundry bases if you camp both bases attackers will spawn in the allyway attackers have mancannons 2 get 2 the base quickly Have fun robbing the bank DOWNLOAD Map Hiest<<---gametype needed
The vault was very creative. The rest however wasn't as inspiring. *EDIT* I do like the feel of the main floor, but I don't know many banks with half walls.
While the structure of the map may not inspire new creativity, the idea behind was very creative. I think he did a very good job in making it look and feel like a bank. Plus the structure is very neat and organized.
thats sounds really cool as well i shall dl but i think the way the map is a one bomb would be really fun and really intense
At first I thought to do that but to me it didnt really make sense to blow the vault twice or just not use what I think is the best part of the level so i never got around to doing it
Dude! I friggen love you right now! You do not know how long I have awaited a map like this, thanks. I also enjoyed how you made the bank vault doors openable by just one well placed grenade!
I'm totally downloading! This map totally reminds me of the Counter Srike map that was in a bank! I remember that about 1/2 the time i played that map on CS, some would yell KNIFE FIGHT IN THE BATHROOM!! into their mic, then everyone would run into the bathroom and die of glorious stab wounds... good times... :squirrel_giggle:
The idea is clever, and the vault was creative, but the building lacked attention. I believe if you spent more time on the design of the bank you might have yourself a great map. Clean it up or I'll do it myself if I dl, but this is a great concept. Nicely done.
could you or some1 else help me sometime i had this idea of like offices on top or something but due to the object/ money limits i ran out of objects and they ended up to be the random walls you see
When find some spare time sure. Just send me a friend request, my GT is ShadowSnip3r RC. I was thinking of doing something like this myself but others ideas took up my time. Like you said offices and a front desk would be fairly easy to make. I'll be sure to let you know when I'd be avalible to help you with this.
