Story Behind the Map (not necessary to read) A radio transmission was received from Alpha team in Installation 05; We were running from the flood, full speed ahead. They were gaining on us. We looked at one another anxiously, wondering what we could possibly do. We could stand and fight, or keep running. I now regret the decision we made… We ran towards the nearest door we saw, we were startled when it opened instantly for us. Something was wrong… but nobody said a word. We rushed into the room, ignoring the fact that it was pitch black. We took a step, and fell into the blackness…. We had been trapped… or a better word yet…. Ambushed… Map Description As I said in the story the flood specifically set up a trap to ambush the marine soldiers. You are those soldiers in the map. You are in a giant box with several places from literally EVERY DIRECTION for the flood to pop out of. They could come from above or come from below. There are shield doors in the ground in which you walk on so be careful that you don’t fall. Right now you’re probably thinking, “Holes in the ground? Won’t people just fall in on purpose and own the flood?” Well, I also thought this, which is why I made it nearly impossible for the humans to survive if the fall. Below the floor there is extremely limited room to move around in. There is a bunch of cornered walls below the floor; making it extremely hard for a human to react quick enough to kill a “flood”. Not to mention they could come at you in almost any direction. The “flood can come from any direction as I said before; they can pop up through the hole. Or go through a teleporter and attack them from up top/ from the side depending upon where it takes you. Good luck surviving, and make sure you watch your back… Game type Description This game type makes a pretty good job of making the flood know where the humans are at ALL TIMES (after all they did set the ambush). The humans have a waypoint over their head and no radar. They also have a Battle Rifle and Assault Rifle (with unlimited ammo) and normal shields. The “flood” have an energy sword plus 2 grenades (with infinite ammo) and no shields at all. This makes it a one headshot kill with the Battle Rifle for the humans. The zombies have 150% speed and 50% gravity. There are five rounds and 3 minutes per round. Game Play Description Humans: you will spawn above the “flood” on the floor and instantly notice that you are stuck in a huge box with 9 holes in the floor. You will have to be looking everywhere if you will plan on surviving (the zombies could pop up and kill you when you walk past a hole). Your best strategy is teamwork. If you try to play alone, you will soon be infected. If you happen to fall down, I would recommend trying to find the teleporter to escape. Infects: You will spawn below the humans and if you get up quickly you are likely to infect someone who isn’t ready yet (this game starts off quick). After that you could continue to jump up from below or go from a teleporter and attack them from above. If any human happens to go through a teleporter then simply toss grenades up in the box he is in (He will come down quick). Remember, they don’t know where you are. Use that to your advantage. Heh this map actually looks like a fun game i like the idea of falling down = inevitable death, i love it when people make maps in favour of the infected for once definatly looks like a worthy dl

yay a fun map to play, im gonna download it, play it with my friends and tell them theres a special wepon if they fall down the death holes heheh. But anyway nice interlocking and i like the way the shield walls represent the holes, looks cool!!
i like the idea its just u could have turned the boxes and made them in line it just makes it look neater but in all looks really fun, im going to dl this becaus my friends love infection so they will love this
Maybe add gravlifts to prevent camping in the teleporter box? Also (maybe in the next version?) maybe make the ground uneven-- like bumps in it almost like a hill or a wavy floor. And the other guy means turn the boxes that act as a wall on their sides so their flat bottoms are the walls. Purely for aesthetics.
The grenades that the infects spawn with is enough to stop those pesky campers, two throws and they are out of there. and I was really thiking about making it uneven and I think I probably will make it bumpy in V2. Thanks for telling me what that guy meant about the boxes.
