raestrak DOWNLOAD MAP DOWNLOAD GAMETYPE raestrak is actually my first racetrack for a very, very long time. The map is small, but still fun. The start has a short wall that you can't get over, but after 20 seconds - as the light turns blue - fence walls will spawn and push you up so you can get over the wall. You're now on your way up a really big banked turn, and you must turn right as you jump off the end of it. Now turn around the corner, and drive straight forward to the banked wall. You turn around this too, and go up the mini-chute. The lap-counter is straight ahead. As you exit the lap-counter, turn right, and you're back at the start. Looks great, I especially liked the half turn through the air, it looks perfectly made. It looks really short though but still DL.
That's what I was thinking, too. I thought someone had really bad grammar, but this looks like a great racetrack anyway. I wish you could set the respawn of the powerups to specific times, though
I agree about the name...I assumed it was an individual who didn't have a clue how to spell. This racetrack looks really fun. Its simple but it looks like a solid track to play on. It looks cheatproof as well which is always a good thing. Keep making racetracks!
Perhaps you should have combined the blue with a yellow power up to make it green. Then Have the red respawn 10 yellow 20 and 2nd yellow with blue 30.
I love the powerup light idea! Very original, I also enjoy the big turn and the turn in the 9th picture.
this looks like a well-made track. i had the same idea with the starting lights actually. i only have one specific thing to say, and understand that i mean this completely as advice and not as dissing your map. although you did put teleporters over the finish line, nothing is stopping cheaters from simply stopping their mongoose right in the middle of them and continuously gaining points. i had the same problem with one of my maps. you can fix it by either putting grav lifts to push players out or by making a small jump that you have to go off to cross the finish line. all in all, it still looks fun
I really like the light thing as ive never seen it before. The actual track looks really well built and you must have tsken a bit of time to make it. Cool
i dont know about the powerup ideas. seems like it requires honor rules. you should make a starting gate. See Cliff Hanger on bng favs
I love how in the beginning it takes time for the fences to spawn and also the starting method. The banked curve is simply amazing!
wow ive seen some pretty sucky racetracks in my days... but urs doesn't suck at all. really nicely made very clean and interesting idea at the beginning
Judging by the pics...it looks like there is a starting gate there and it oges away with the light...not sure and I cant DL...I like it...very clean and well interlocked...looks like an awesome map!!
Wow! That first turn with the walls looks amazing. I was okay with the name, but my problem is that it is too short, its only like three turns, but those three turns look amazing. Good job.
Nice race track. That's gotta be one of the smootest banked turns featured in a race track. The powerup light isn't anything new but it's a nice aesetic touch. The track looks honor-rule free up until the finish line. I suggest you put the teleporters after the finish line and put grav lifts before the finish line to push anyone not in a mongoose into the teleporters. 4.5/5
Wow thanks everybody for all the positive comments! Can you believe that after 5 hours I got 2 pages of comments. Concerning the finish line; I don't know about gravlifts - they would make the turn right after really really hard. However, I could place mancannons in an angle, so you won't fly into the wall, but get pushed forward slowly(and down ). Maby I'll make a v2... And concerning the start; The wall in front of the mongooses is impossible to get over, but as 20 seconds has passed, the fence walls will spawn, pushing you up in about the same height as the wall, letting you get over it. Smart huh?
