For this infection map I am making, I need a way to block the teleporter at the beginning of the game.

    Methods Tried but Failed:

Put dumpster/barrel in the teleporter make man cannon spawn 30 seconds after the game starts.

    What went Wrong?

The dumpster and the barrel didn't fly.

Try a grav lift or a fusion coil to block away the blockage. They generally work well.

Have you tried a Wire Spool? also, make sure the angle is correct before deciding on where you want your lift/cannon

What about making the receiver spawn 30 seconds late? Won't it be the same principle?

You can't make Teleporters spawn late for some reason.

Mancannons for some reason will not move an object much of the time unless you come into contact with it. A late spawning Grav Lift will though.

Failing that, a fusion coil blocking the teleporter that is destroyed by a late spawning coil from above should also work. Only problem with that is, you can still get through the teleporter if you jump as you go in :S

Crates sit on top of them, and fly away easily.

I did, but I wasn't exactly focusing on what to put there I was focusing on making it move, they both suggested Grav Lifts. And it worked, thanks anyway Tex.

instead of doing that you can either have an open box and have them spawn in it and have a gravlift spawn after 30 seconds or a way so that there not bord. lol. u can put a crate on to of the tele and they have to smack it out of the way so that it takes a bit but i depends n how fast they do it is how fast they get out.

try floating the reciever on the cieling and have a dumpster underneath it. then make a shaft for it to go through (like an elevator) and have a gravlift spawn 30 seconds into the game (or mancanon, which ever works for you.

a second idea is to just have a "drop box" that you just melee down over the teleport.
