    Update. Do to an issue with the file name change and saving it, the map name keeps reverting back to its original on my console. The map name can come up as
    W.I.N. : U.N.S.C.
    Or as just - W.I.N.

    Any effective way to eliminate distance pop in/ out?

    It's programmed into the game to keep the frame rate as stable as possible. The only way to eliminate it is to make sure objects are never visible beyond the point where they pop in/out. It really needs to be built into the design if you want to totally eliminate it, because with some designs it's just not possible.
    The best thing you can do is limit the length and width of your lines of sight.

    I appreciate it! I found the threshold where it is causing the pop in/out issues,, and I've finally managed to eliminate most of the pop in/out issues with Caldera. Now all I need to do is polish up the terrain and lighting and eliminate the last few pop in/outs, and the map should finally be ready for testing soon. Thank you!

    Thank you Halo for letting us experience an up rez'd 1999.

    I mean I loved 1999 but still I really hope this next forge editor lets everyone's work truly shine at a level that matches the amount of dedication it has taken to make this kind of masterpiece out of glorified digital lego.

    Does anybody know where one could find a possible list of the FX percentages of each weapon and vehicle? I clearly needed to drop the fx on W.I.N. down to below 100%, was at 123%. Got it down to 96%, trying to help with shadowing on certain objects. I found that UNSC standard weapons have hardly any effect, while a Forerunner suppressor adds 3%.

    @fhub staff so what is forgehubs plans moving forward with contests for infinite? i know there have been some smaller contests recently to just keep the community invested, but i'm curious to see if there are any ideas or developments for the debut infinite contests? I'm not looking for anything specific, but more fundamental principles and ethics

    transparency: stream the contest to put pressure on judges to be their best

    trust: having the community weigh in and have an outcome on the judges, and not just being picked by staff, or even worse JUST being staff

    direction: clearly defined contest goals, what are the judges biases and expectations?

    accountability: judges must provide constructive feedback on all maps, demonstrating they took it seriously as a submission

    Slowly have been working on this below also been uploading forge works to youtube now on an old channel. I know I am a bit anti social (mental health stuff) and really have a hard time asking for help but if anyone is interested in getting to know me you can hit me up on Xbox live. My time can be odd due to work hours but think I need to get to know more people and make new friends.

    Below has some lockout structure elements to it, but build is based off some random instagram concept art.
